Night out
Warnings: No-Wanna dance?- a raspy voice asked from behind her.
She looked so good, her key style always there even thought she didn't like parties at all.
-Hmm?- she turned around surprised and happy to see him with a beer on hand. According to Andrew and his agenda, he wasn't going to be able to make it.
The only ones there were Niall Horan, Camila Cabello and other of Shawn's friends, but they had left her alone. It was fair, since she was kind of boring.
He cleared his throat and spoke.
-May I invite my lady to dance?-
-Huh, your lady? Now you're coming off that way? You know I don't dance- she answered examining his outfit. He looked so nice, for the lack of words, in that dark blue shirt and black dressing jeans. And those curls...oh those perfect raveled curls.
-Just for me, please? I don't know how to dance either but here I am, giving it a shot- He stretched his arms with an assuring smile and laughed a little.
She couldn't resist those puppy eyes so she did. The man extended his arm for her and she took it. Entwining hers in the soft silk of his shirt.
-Oh I love that song!- He exclaimed when they were close to the dance floor-Come on- he started walking faster and so she had to run a little.
-Shawn, it's your song-
-I know- he just smiled widely with pride at his statement.
When both were now settled and with some couples around them, they started to move to the beat of the song. Him being the lead dancer. To be honest, they were quite terrible.
-I can't get you out of my mind Leah, I just can't- he whispered while he deepened his head into the crook of her neck. The same song echoing through the room. And without her admitting it, it made her shiver.
The way his hand was often found in the lower part of her back tracing circles, or the particular way he bit his lip whenever one of them did a terrible dance move...
-Stop being so cheesy or I'll leave- she answered rolling her eyes and slightly trying to keep his head away from her chest.
-No regrets. Cause you're already here darling-
They kept dancing for a couple of minutes till Shawn said he would go for another drink.
-Wait here Leah-
She nodded. Stepping outside the dance floor.
When Shawn arrived at the table bar, he asked for two cocktails.
-Are you alone gorgeous?- a blonde with a gaudy voice asked. Showing off a lot of skin for Shawn's judgement.
-No I'm actually with someone. Excuse me- he responded pretty annoyed and uncomfortable with the situation while he took in both hands the drinks he had ordered and started to walk.
