*Mias POV*

I began twisting my hair in between my fingers waiting for school to end. I couldn't wait to get home I got a job at Nandos with my friend today was the first day of work. My thoughts were interrupted by the bell I was practically running out when I heard Mrs. Jones said " Mia can I speak to you?"

"I actually can't I ha-"

I was immediately cut off by her saying "Its about your grades... you have been slipping into lala land"

"I know I know I will try to pick up my grade"

"Okay Mia see you on Monday"

Oh how I dreaded that word. I sprinted to my car and went home I changed into my uniform and brushed my brown hair back and braided it. I got my stuff and and got in the car.

"Oh shoot " I muttered to myself, I ran back inside and grabbed my jumper I forgot how cold it got in London. (Me and my best friends just moved here for college). I drove to Jades house to pick her up.

"Hey!" she shouted

" Why do you have to be so loud" I whispered.

"You are just jealous I got a modeling job and you're a waitress" she said while powdering her face with conceiler.

Jade has been my best friend since high school along with Leilah. Jade and Leilah aren't friends anymore because of Jades modeling career Leilah thinks that Jade has become a priss I totally agree but hey Jade is pretty awesome. I wish I was as pretty as Jade she has black hair, crystal blue eyes, and pale skin. Whilst I have brown hair, brown eyes with black specks, and tan skin. Leilah with blonde

curly hair, green eyes, and pale skin.

"Hey were here" Jade screeched

"yay "I mumbled

"help me get into my clothes?"

"I can't I have work to you know" I snapped.

"whatever pick me up at 8 there is a party at 10 and we need to get you dolled up" she smiled

I drove off like the speed of light. I got to Nandos and clocked in.
