I'm sitting in class when the inner com comes on

"Nicole Payne to the office" then clicks off

I gather my things and start heading down because this is nothing new I've had 12 detentions and 3 suspensions because I just don't take people crap.

I walk into the office with the same idgaf attitude as usual but this time was different because my mom was standing there which still isn't a good sign...

"Hi mom" I say cautiously

"Hello nicole" she says with a stern sigh

Then I know I'm dead

"Do you know why your here mrs.payne?" my principal says sternly

"No ma'ma" I hesitantly say

"We'll your going to be home schooled for now on" he says

"WHAT NO!!!" I say alittle loud earning stares

"Nicole lower your voice" my mom quickly says

"Sorry" I mumble

"Why do I have to be home schooled?" I ask

"Because I say so" my mom says and that ends the discussion.

Back at home!

"What is going on a no bc I said so bs mom I'm serious" I yell not thinking

"Young lady don't use that tone with me" my mom roars back

"I'm so sorry mom I just lost my temper" I apologize

"Apology accepted" she says with a smile

"Now can you please tell me what's going in?" I ask

She sighs and frowns "it's your brother the band hasn't seen him in days bc his new gf thinks they bad"

"What who does that snob think she is?" I say anger feels my eyes

"Harry is on his way to get you bc they think if your there he will come back" she says with a smile

"Yea right he has forgotten all about me" I say almost crying

"No he hasn't he wanted to text you happy bday but she wouldn't let him" she says

"I gotta go pack" I say with so much anger I probably look red because I'm so mad

I walk upstairs and immediately start throwing things realizing that I had so much anger building up that I just locked away and my mom just handed me the key to unleash all hell and emotions that I've been holding in for 2years and I realize that I felt so much better because it's like a weight lifted off my shoulders.
