At first glance, you would think everyone has had a good life with their smiles. You would think life has been perfect for them through out their years. Everyone thought wrong. As an only child, life had been hard on me. The cause of my parents death was from a birthday wish that I wanted.

So far across the world I selfishly asked them to come home for my 5th birthday and an hour right after they had flown, their plane malifunctioned and exploded like fireworks with an unpleasant boom throughout the sky.

I had no other close relatives so I was adopted by rich people who thought they could manage me until they've seen who I really was. A stubborn rebelled kid. Of course they dropped me back to the orphanage.

That does not matter now. It was when this day came at first glance was a girl. She was quiet and still, peaceful in her world until her friends came around her when she started to shine brighter than the sun with her dazzling smile.

She then looked around for someone when our eyes met briefly until I was shoved roughly on the lockers followed by a mocking laugh walking away.

My wrist was aching in pain when I saw that the fresh wound started bleeding again. I opened my locker to quickly wrap it up with a bandaid and safely tugged my sleeves down.

Few days had past and I never saw that girl again. With hundreds of students, it would only require me luck until I opened my locker once again. A white envelope fell down to my shoes and looked at it with confusion.

Carefully I bent down looking for a signiture and found none then opened the letter.

"Dear to you,

I'm sorry that you had this random letter in your locker but I just wanted you to know that right after I saw you the other day I couldn't help but think of you every time... I do not want to sound like a creepy person but I don't have the guts to talk up to you. I just hope that maybe we can hang out sometime or just have a nice chat? If so that would be great! Well if not, I understand and will no longer bother you. I'm just, I'm sorry about this. But again you just can't leave out of my mind. "

I blinked. I looked around again for any signs of names but at the back of the paper, I saw a number. It was a locker number but who's? Realization hit me when I remembered that girl from last time. The one who had a gorgeous smile and eyes, the one who was surrounded by her friends. I read the letter again in disbelief. This can't be true, or worse, it could just be a prank but what if it's real?

It took me some time until I gained confidence and wrote back to her.

"Dear to you too,

I had seen many people in this place but I might know which one of them was you. You were the only one who I put more attention to than any others. I feel really happy that you noticed me but I can't help but be cautious from this sudden action. I had been pranked on many times in my life to see where this is going so please if you are, leave me be. If not then... I, we will figure something out. "

I've never really written to someone before but I hoped it was good enough. Before putting the letter in the locker, I made sure it was hers. During our lunch break, I casually stood far but in my sights from her locker. I sighed in relief when she came alone and opened her locker then saw a brief sigh coming from her lips and closed it. She did not take or leave anything inside so did that mean she was excpecting my reply?
