-Josh’s POV-
I walk into Jen’s Hotel room, and plop down on the couch in the living room. I sigh and a thought pops up in my head. ‘Should I tell her- No It’ll – UGH!!! Why is this so hard of a choice?! Well there could be a bright side to it well… if she says ‘yes’… well…It’s worth a shot…’
I feel a pair of arms snake around my shoulders.
“So,” Jennifer Says, “How’ve you been?”
I blush, “Okay.” I reply, “How are you?” I ask.
“I’ve been, better.” She says
The room goes silent. Akward silence? . . . Okay…
Jen breaks the silence, “Okay. There’s something I’ve couldn’t get off my mind so I need your help with it…” She says quickly. “Okay.”, I say “What is it?”
“You know that ‘ship’ of us right?” she asks,
“Yeah.” I say, “Do you mean Joshifer?”
“Yeah… well-”
I interrupt her
“Are you saying-”
She interrupts
“N-no…” She stutters. “I’m just saying if it were to…”
I know where she’s going with this. “Would it be the same if something, say, bad happened….” She pauses, “Would things be the same?”
“I think both of us will need time to think about that.” I chuckle
“I mean It’s not like you’re just going to-.”
I feel something warm on my cheek for a moment and a chill runs down my spine. “Hang on…” She says, “I’ll be right back…” Jen leaves the room. I am NEVER washing this cheek again…
I wait a few minutes, she’s still not back. “JEN?” I call, “Is everything alright?”
“Yeah!” she shouts “Hang on, I’ll be out in a second…”
Jen comes back into the living room and plops down next to me.
“Shall we?” Jen holds up the remote, and starts the movie
-Two Hours later-
Jen fell asleep… I should tuck her in…
I pick up Jen Bridal style and carry her to her room, and tuck her in. “Goodnight Jennifer…” I whisper.
I start to walk out but Jen grabs my wrist. “Joshy?” She says, “Will you stay with me?”
“Yeah.” I say, “Always...”
