MAZE

Taehyung did not expect to wake up next to a dark haired, bunny-like boy but that's what he got. Then again, he didn't exactly forsee waking up in a maze either.

He had spent the last few minutes waiting for the other boy to wake up, hoping that he would have some sort of memory of how they got here.
Sure, he could have left the boy but he somehow felt a connection to him. Maybe there was a reason they were together when he woke up and he just couldn't remember?

Taehyung was dragged out of his thoughts when he heard incoherent mumbling coming from the boy behind him. Taehyung spun around on time to see the boy opening his eyes drowsily. He was shocked to see that they were a golden yellow colour.

"Hey, I'm Taehyung" he said, extending one arm out to the boy.
The boy grabbed the arm and pulled himself up.

"Taehyung? It sounds familiar. Anyways, I'm Jungkook" he said before flashing a smile.

His smile faltered a little when he looked around at their surroundings though.

Taehyung noticed the change of expression on his face. "I think we're in some kind of maze, I've got no idea how we can get out though" he spoke.

"Don't worry Taehyung! I'm sure we can work this out!" Jungkook said, positivity radiating from him.

This sentence triggered something in Taehyung's mind. Suddenly a memory flashed in his mind.
"This isn't going to work out Taehyung, wHY CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND?!"
Taehyung couldn't recognize the person in the memory but their voice sounded so broken and sorrowful that is made him shiver.

"Taehyung? Are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost!"

Taehyung was snapped back into reality by Jungkook's voice. "I'm fine don't worry" he smiled weakly "So should we start trying to escape this maze then or what?"

Jungkook noticed how he changed the subject quickly but decided not to say anything about it. "Yeah let's go for it!" he replied enthusiastically.

Taehyung couldn't help but to think he was like a big ball of brightness and energy and it warmed his heart.

Hosoek wasn't usually this nervous. In fact he was the kind of person to face all his problems head on, yet his current situation wasn't exactly putting him at ease

He had been wandering around the maze hoping to find some kind of living thing but a 'living thing' found him first, and by 'living thing' he wish he meant a human.

Instead he was face to face with some kind of monster dog?

Whatever that thing was it didn't look friendly and Hoseok decided he didn't want to wait and find out.

So he did what any other person would do and ran.

That plan was working perfectly until he rounded a corner and bumped right into something, crashing to the ground.

"Damn I don't even know you yet and you're already falling for me"

Taehyung and Jungkook were venturing through the maze together when a person came bounding around the corner and ran straight into Jungkook, knocking both of them over.

Taehyung stood there shocked. Meanwhile Jungkook had caught his breath and was already smiling again.
"Damn I don't even know you yet and you're already falling for me"

The orange-eyed guy chucked at that before picking himself up and extending his arm out to help Jungkook up.

"I'm Hoseok! Sorry for this by the way. I just-" he peered over his shoulder, seeing that the mysterious creature was gone. "I thought I saw something".

Jungkook accepted the other's arm and used it to pull himself up. "No worries Hoseok, can't blame you for getting a bit spooked especially in a place like this." he said while looking around. "Anyways I'm Jungkook!".
Jungkook's face wore a bright smile as usual.

"And I'm Taehyung" the green-eyed boy mumbled.

"Well it's great to meet you guys! Ooh! We should be like the three musketeers!" Hoseok enthused.

"Sure" Jungkook giggled out.

Things seemed normal, too normal.
