Teaser Classmate (One Shot)

Sick Nishikata

Nishikata took a rest in his bed while he really suffers a hard pain on his head. He confirmed himself he had a fever and the thermometer calculated his temperature to 38.5 degrees. He couldn't move nor wake up but then to sleep better instead of forcing himself to go to school, Today is their last quarter examination. His mom took care of him making breakfast. And after a while he wanted to get up since he can't just lie down on his bed or else he won't recover fastly.

(G-Geez! This r-really hurt!)

"Nishikata? Huh? Hey why are you lying on the floor?" His mom said to him.

"My dear, you simply can't move your body today. Come on go back to bed."

His mother put him up again in his bed and covered him up some blanket. Then Nishikata replied that he wouldn't recovered by just resting.

"You know resting up is a good way to recover your strength." Said his mom.

"I-I wonder about that." He replied

"I bought you some food to eat. I hope you'd like it."

"Nursing me as always when I'm sick mom. You still never changed."

"Hmm? Why? is it wrong?"

"No mom. It's just that, I missed the old days when I was young."

"You know that you are my son."

...

"And I will do anything to cure you up."

"Thanks Mom."

The doorbell rangs as someone has visited their home and nobody but Takagi visited their house. She didn't come to school today so then she visited Nishikata. After his mom saw Takagi she went upstairs to see Nishikata looking so pitiful.

"Oh.. Good Morning Nishikata."

"Takagi san?" Said Nishikata as he stood up and got headache.

"You seem pretty sick today are you?" Asked Takagi.

"Wait you didn't go to school today?"

"I was really worried about you yesterday. You were training hard for your volleyball team."

"Huh? Did you came to watch me during my training?"

"Yeah! You didn't actually notice me there while I was in the corner watching you."

(T-Takagi san is... Watching me the whole time yesterday?)

"And now you're kindly sick today. You should really rest up."

"Yeah... Sucks that I won't get to training today. Our tournament is near."

"Takagi san when do I actually gonna get up on this bed?"

"Hm? What do you mean?"

"Well I was... Kinda worried if I stayed too long on this bed I won't be able to recover fully."

"Hmmm.... I think it's after you rest up today. Maybe tomorrow you'll get a feeling better."

"Oh... That so? Thank Goodness."

"However you're not fully recovered so you must have to warm up yourself a little."

"I bought you some food today... It's the one you've ate to me the last time I got sick."

"Oh... Thanks, say you do really care for me do you?"

"Hehe That's because I like you."

"Huh?"

"Being a sick patient Nishikata." Said Takagi.

"Hey you know what when you get better let's take the test together. I promise I'll let you copy."

"Uhh sure." (It was purposely she didn't come to school today because she knew I was sick today and couldn't go to school today so maybe she is trying to help me.)

Takagi feeds Nishikata however he doesn't like when Takagi is the one feeding her but instead do it by himself. But Takagi refused to since he is so weak plus by the time she got sick he was the one feeding her when she's sick.

"Come on Nishikata! Eat up."

"W-Would it be okay if I do it myself?"

"No can do Nishikata you're too weak to handle the chopstick."

"Chopsticks doesn't have any weight to make it heavy for me."

"Yeah but that doesn't mean it's okay for you."

"Just let me do it for you Nishikata."

He took a bite and blushingly as he hide his face to her. Takagi notices the emotional of Nishikata and smiles at him. She feeds him up again with a smile and ask if it is delicious.

"Was it good?" Said Takagi as she smiles.

"I-It's okay."

...

"It's because... you're too embarrassed just because I'm feeding you right?"

(Darn it she figured!)

"It's because of your red face that is."

(That's right!)

"Hey once you've recovered well let's go to school together."

"Huh? B-But we're always go to school together."

"Yeah but yesterday we didn't as you went home so late as your mother said."

(I don't know how much she care about me.)

"Hey since you're done you should rest up a bit. You'll get better soon."

"Yeah thanks Takagi san."

"Mind if I look around your room?"

"Uhh well s-sure okay then."

Takagi took an exploration on Nishikata's room as the bookshelf is full of latest volume of 100% Unrequited Love. She was really surprised he became a fan of a girl's novel. She tried his playstation console but it doesn't work anymore. She reads a new latest novel book. Not quite for long she went up to Nishikata's bed and laid beside him. She secretly stares at him and throbs her so bad.
