Sorry guys but I'm gonna have to pause this book here. I'm busy with graduating high school early (I'm more than excited) . Yes early I'm skipping a grade but I have a late birthday. I can't write 2 books at the same time because when I write I'm in the mood for the story/ it's really time consuming. Lately I been feeling the other book more and figured it's best to stick to one until summer or break. For now this book is gonna be paused but WILL CONTINUE when my life has simmered down(aka there is no school) sorry this chapter is kinda wack, like I said I wasn't really feeling it.

Julian POV.

Something felt different about going to fight this time. I had a bad feeling.

Once I leave the pack hospital with Liam we go to meet the deta. The beta was in the hospital being checked up on since my girl saved him. When we get there we see nothing but bodies laying around. My west border warriors.

"What the fuck is going on? Where's the deta??" Liam curses.

I check to see if any of them had a pulse. Not one, not one beat.

I focus on my hearing to hear a light Thutter. Listening to the fast heart beat I walk over to one of my female warriors body. Her name was Kylie and she was the mate of my best male warrior. I reach down to try to find a pulse in her neck.

Nothing. Moon goddess forgive me.

I move my hand to her stomach. I felt the soft beating of something inside her. She was pregnant but she is dead. This baby would die with the mother except slower than what she did. I couldn't let the baby suffer.

"Alright, mr. Tylann Parce and your mommy's last name. I will not let you suffer any more. I just want you to know that your mommie loved you and still loves you but it's your time to be with her." I rub her stomach in a circle feeling her slight bump. Liam taps me on the shoulder handing me a knife.

"I'm so sorry buddie, I wish your momma would have told me or my brother that she was expecting." I get ready to puncture her stomach hoping that it would hit the head. Pushing the knife threw her stomach I hear the soft heart beat slow. Softer and softer.

I stand up from the body.

'Austin, gather all troops and scan the pack lands for intruders. Secure the border and all intruders should be killed no questions.' I couldn't tell Austin over the link that he had lost his mate. That he lost his child, whose suffering I ended. But I'm sure he could feel it

'Alpha, I have not been able to get in contact with the west border.'

' okay, I'll check it out.'

'Can you make sure my wife is okay? I felt so much unexplainable pain in my chest and in my stomach. I feel empty, as if she's left me.'

'I'll make sure she's okay warrior'

I lied to him. I couldn't do it. Honestly I wanted to just bawl but I'm alpha. No one but my mate was suppose to see my tender side.

I looked around at the bodies there was no bruises from fighting. Then I also realize they were all in human form. Why were they in human form? We don't fight that way.

"Liam, why aren't they in wolf form?"

"I don't know. I don't understand but we got to have these bodies moved and return them back to the earth." He furrows his eyebrows.

I return to the hospital to Julie and Caroline. Not expecting to see Caroline's sister there with them. Fake smiling, I make eye contact with Caroline. Her face expression changes from smiling to an expression I have never seen before.

Caroline pov.
Julian walked in the room and I felt a strange pull off him. The feeling was strange, it was like... like.... I can't explain. I just know I've had the same feeling when I met the moon goddess.  He walked closer and I notice blood on his hand.

"Are you okay Julian, what happened? Why is your hand bloody?" Everyone leaves the room. He looks up at me and just leans over the bed hugging the daylights out of me.

"We had rouges attack on the west side of the boarder. I told Austin to scan the pack and kill any rouge without question." I furrowed my eyebrows and pulled his hair off his forehead.

"Why would you kill them without asking questions? That's not really smart." He lift his head off my shoulder looking down at me. I could tell that whatever it was that it was definitely bad.

"Who ever it was killed everyone patrolling over there. They killed Austin's mate and baby."

"She was pregnant???"

" not far along to be showing but still. I don't know how to tell my best warrior about this without breaking him. He'll never be the same after this. Especially the part where I tell him about the baby... Caroline?"

"What if he didn't know that she was pregnant." She responds

We stay silent and just stay close. I breath in his scent calming my self and my wolf.

"How did she die?"

"We don't know we found everyone in human form with no signs of fighting they were just all dead and close."

"You know I love you right?" I ask him.

"Do you know I love your eyes, your scent, the way you carry your self, and my favorite thing is the way you taste. I honestly can't get enough." I smile at his statements but I couldn't help but to laugh hard at that last part.

"Baby that smile, wohoo it's brighter than a thousand stars"

"Your so corny, Julian. Your killing me."

I need to pop out this baby, excuse me I mean babies. I think my babies may be in danger if this is what I think it is.
