"Mum," Ezra whines, pulling on one of my arms yanking me out of peaceful sleep. "MUM!"
I roll over towards my son, groaning at the movement. "What's wrong?" My voice is rough with sleep as I look him over. No wounds were visible and he didn't look hurt.
"I think the schools are canceled."
"Did you ask Uncle Cass?" I prop myself up onto my elbows. "He was supposed to get you ready today." So we could catch up on sleep...
"He told me to check with you."
I nod once, looking over at Rhysand who was still in a peaceful sleep. I gently brush some hair out of his face before slipping from our bed and leading Ezra to the kitchen.
From all the sources I check, schools were indeed canceled, and Ezra merrily skipped back to bed. I just stand in the kitchen, looking at the squalling snow outside. Cassian went back to training after I told him he could go back home. I would kick his ass later for getting me up on the one day I could've slept in.
I sigh, running a hand down my face.
"Feyre?" Rhys groggy voice sounds from behind me. I turn to my husband as he approaches me. "Darling, why are you awake?" He pulls me into his arms, kissing me lovingly on the head.
"Ezra wasn't sure if it was a snow day or not," I admit. Rhys looks down at me confused. "Cass wasn't sure either..."
Rhys raises a brow. "So he woke you up?"
"Please don't kill him." I pout, running a hand down his arm.
"I'm trying my hardest..." He smiles softly, placing his forehead on mine. "But I might if he comes back."
"I'll send him a warning."
"Spoiled sport." He mummers to me, claiming my lips for a too short of a second.
I laugh, pushing him away. "I'm going back to bed," I tell him, interlacing on fingers. "Care to join me?"
One second I'm standing on the floor, the next I'm in Rhys' arms being carried up the stairs. "Of course, My Lady." He grins down at me, kissing my temple once. Twice.
I roll my eyes but fold into his warmth, savoring the sweet sleep that soon follows.

I'm awoken by a playful scream, followed by uncontrolled giggling.
"You thought you could wake me up without a consequence?" I hear Rhys asks Ezra. I roll over on my side to find Ezra upside down in Rhys' arms. They're both grinning from ear to ear, Ezra giggling, and trying to flip himself around.
"Oh no you don't." Rhys smiles, pulling his son to his chest, and taking a seat on the bed. Ezra struggles trying to escape his father's grip, still laughing uncontrollably, but Rhys' arms hold strong.
"Mummy!" Ezra laughs, reaching out to me. "Help!"
I smile, as Rhys' violet eyes slid to mine.
"I'm not sure..." I hum, crawling over to their side of the bed. "You woke me up too."
Ezra lets out a fake whimper, pouting at me, his bottom lip sticking out as his eyes grow bigger. Sader. I can't resist that look...
Leaning over to Rhys, I capture his lips in my own, I feel him soften against me, and I pull away yelling at Ezra to run. He springs free from his father's grasp and runs out the door. I'm quick to follow, holding his hand as we run through the halls, Rhys right behind us.
