Chapter Five

Next day:
Techno woke up with a splitting headache. He wanted to skip work but he couldn't so taking the hangover medicine getting ready to go to work and soon look the bus, yawning all the way almost missing his stop he manage to arrive on time.

He was yawning since he arrived and until he went in the elevator not realising he was not alone in the elevator.

He doesn't realized stood someone who was smiling at him. Techno laid his head on the wall of the elevator yawning.

Then he heard a familiar laugh. Techno eyes went wide and saw Kengkla laughing at him

"Ai'Kla!" Techno yelled out and covered his mouth from embarrassing himself

Kengkla just laughed "Sawadeekhap P'No" Kengkla wai'd to him and Techno was pouting.

He ignored Kengkla until he reached his floor and left the you get in the elevator who smiled at him and said "see you later P'No"

Techno was shocked and couldn't understand the younger's behaviour. Actually something was a bit odd about the younger.

"Did he forgot he left me? Why is he acting as if we are still in a relationship?!" Techno thought as he went to his cubicle.

Then he saw the note with his own handwriting

Meeting with CEO 10PM

Techno almost forgot about the important meeting with Tin when he stood up and said  to the people in the office "Meeting Room 10PM with CEO"

Soon the office became havoc as everyone rushed to the large meeting room and Techno left the cubicle and headed to the meeting room and saw the employees sitting down and Techno stood in the middle of the large podium and began to say

"This meeting will begin soon. Be at your best behaviour. Our CEO will not tolerate anyone who make this company's name turning into ashes"

He glared at every single one of them employees.

Then he saw the meeting room door open and saw the CEO coming in and saw someone he saw this morning and stuttered

"Now welcome our CEO, Tin Medthanan" Techno said and soon walked to the side.

He saw Tin stood in front of the podium and he saw Kengkla smirking at him and even winked at him.

Techno just ignored him and thought "This fucker. What is he thinking"

Then Tin began to talk

"Good morning to all of you. I know this morning all of you seem to be in an enthusiastic mood. Well I would like to introduce all of your to the new Vice President of the company" Tin said and Kengkla stood forward and there were claps and even flirty comments that made Techno roll his eyes with disgust.

"Disgusting" Techno mumbled and watch Kengkla smiled and said "Hello everyone"

Techno saw some of the women swooning and some lady-boys fanboying making Techno feel angry. Then he realized

"Why should I be angry? It's been years we've been over and there is nothing between us anymore so I have no right to get jealous" Techno's inner thought said the obvious and Techno found himself nodded.

Techno then decide to get out of the room discreetly and he did and went to sit at his cubicle.

He doesn't notice Kengkla and Tin's eyes watching him discreetly leaving the meeting. Soon, Tin dismissed the employees and soon Kengkla was surrounded by a group of employees but he was saved by Tin who told him

"Go to P'No ai'Kla" Tin whispered and soon Kengkla left the meeting room and soon went to the floor where Techno got off and went to the multiple cubicles surprising the employees who came back from the meeting and then he saw a mop of hair he recognised everywhere.

"General Manager, Techno I would like a word with you" Kengkla said which startled the older male who look at him with shock then with disgust and stood up and soon they left to go and talk at the roof of the high rise building.

Techno stood almost at the edge of the building and holding onto the railing and turned around and was face to face with the younger

"Talk" Techno said still angry and Kengkla gulped knowing it will be difficult.

"Uh P' firstly I want to apologise, for everything. Leaving you" Kengkla said sincerely.

Techno by now pouting cross his arms and said "Jerk"

"I know P" Kengkla said "and I am so sorry for what I've done P. Please forgive me P"

Techno then said "Good you apologise but it's years too late Kengkla. I moved on. You should too. We are strangers now. Don't talk to me ever again Mr. vice president. This discussion is over" Techno said

He soon walked back into the building and went down the flight of stairs to his office. He knew it's for the best.

Even if it hurts, it'd the best for both of them. One step at a time that both will live their family expect them to have and it will be it.

Kengkla stood dumbfounded by the turn of events and hung his head. He was angry with himself. He knew he had done the worst thing that made him regret all his life.

"I am too late" Kengkla mumbled and he cried. Everyday since he's been overseas never shown this side of him to anyone. He knew it was finally over for them and others nothing to be done
