Introduction

• Addison's POV •

Uh, hi. I'm Addison Moore and I'm 15 turning 16 soon. I have long brown wavy hair, hazel eyes and I love to sing yet I'm pretty shy. I'm not very girly, dresses aren't my thing but I will wear them occasionally. My bestfriend is Shawn Mendes, yes, the famous viner/singer. We've been friends since we were 3 years old (we're the same age) and we are joined to hip, not literally of course. I used to love him like a brother I never had, but now my feelings for him are a bit mixed. Well first of all let me explain my life and friends.

I go to a small high school in Canada with my bestfriends (besides Shawn, he goes there too) Brooke Taylor and Madelyn Smith. I've known them since Grade 1 in primary school and I'm in year 10 in high school now.

Brooke is 16 years old turning 17 way later in the year. She has blonde, really pretty curly hair and beautiful green eyes. She's very outgoing and loud, so is Shawn's friend Cameron Dallas. Maybe that's why she likes him SO much. She's very funny and can pull the funniest faces and she also does so many funny vines with Cameron. (A/N: Cameron is not a teenager anymore😥)

Madelyn is 13 turning 14 she's 2 years younger than me but she's like my little sister. I love her and she always comes to Brooke and I for life questions. Madelyn has straight long light brown hair, brown eyes, she is cute and very sweet. Shawn's bestfriend who is also 2 years younger than him is Hayes. Everyone knows Hayes has the biggest crush on Madelyn but she's not sure if she likes him back. Hayes Grier is the younger brother of Nash Grier who is Cam's bestfriend.

My life is pretty normal, I guess. 

Uh.. what haven't I told you yet? Oh yeah, I have a smaller sister. Her names Lauren (Moore). She's 11 and she's got blonde straight hair with brown highlights. I actually do love her, she can be annoying sometimes but I love her and I would rather stay with her forever than lose her.

My mum's name is Caitlin and my dad's name is David. I look a lot more like my mum, because of my hair and my eyes. Lauren has got my dad's hair though. We are very close and my dad's very protective. The only boys he approves of is Shawn and I think Hayes. He's not quite sure of the rest.

Maybe I should tell you more about my relationship with Shawn. We've been friends since we were 3 years old as I already said and we met at a play centre. I, uh.. accidentally threw a ball at him at the play centre and he started crying, so I quickly ran up to him and said sorry like a thousand times and gave him my lollipop. Normally my lollies are really important to me so if I ever gave you one, ESPECIALLY as a baby you must be pretty damn special.

Our mum's then came, to take us and go home. But then they did that usual mum thing, where they just sit there and talk to each other for what seemed liked years!

After that we had play dates and found out we lived in the same area. We went to the same kindergarten and our parents organised for us to go to the same primary school.

During primary school, we did everything together. I met Brooke and Madelyn so they hung out with Shawn and I. In class when the teacher said pick a partner we'd give the look to each other and bam we were partners. I got girl school captain and he got boy school captain, so we technically controlled the grade 5/6 population.

We got to high school and we were babies again. We always hung out in each other's groups, I had Madelyn and Brooke with me too so it was fun. Shawn met Cameron, Nash, Hayes, Taylor, Carter, Aaron, Matt, Jack and Jack. Jack Gilinsky and Brooke dated for a while until Brooke felt a big attraction towards Cameron Dallas so yeah, they broke up. But they're still like bestfriends now and act like nothing they had no romance ever between them.

So, yes. That's how Shawn and I met. That's how I met the 'Magcon Boys' their group name. Shawn's the singer of the group but Jack & Jack are working on some pretty good music.

Who is it now? I thought as I looked down onto my phone to see who texted me.

Shawn💛: hey, wanna come over to my house with the guys to hang out? you can bring Brooke and Madelyn, cause Cam and Hayes are here *wiggles eyebrows*

(me) Addison<3: haha, of course Shawn. Brooke and Madelyn are at my house I'll tell them to get off their phones

Shawn💛: yep, get here by 7?

Addison<3: okay bye, see you then

Shawn💛: bye Addy

Addison<3: bye Shawny

I don't really know where my relationship with Shawn is right now but I think it's progress? Right?

"Broooooke, Madelyn get up! We're going to hang out with Shawn and the guys at his house," I yelled from my room. "Is Cam there?" Brooke asked excitedly. "Uh yeah, so is Hayes, Mads," I laughed. "Oh, but Hay- whatever lets go," shouted Madelyn.

We got important things we would need aka phones, money and tissues for sad movies. Not like the guys EVER watch then but just incase there's a miracle.

"Bye mum," I shouted as I walked through the front door first. "Bye Caitlin," yelled a jumpy Brooke. "Bye Mrs Moore," muttered a really quiet Madelyn.

As we walked out the door Brooke asked why Madelyn was so quiet. "Oh- uh it's nothing," she stuttered. "NOTHING? Hahaha, you are the worst liar ever Madelyn Smith. Now what's going on?" Brooke laughed.

"Well, please don't laugh but I think I may like Hayes back. Because. Uh well on Instagram, Snapchat and etc he posts these pictures of him with girl fans and stuff and I feel like he doesn't like me back anymore," she finally said slowly about to sob. "Pfttt, he definitely likes you back. All his tweets are like 'only missing this one girl in Canada' and 'I love you M_ _ _ _ _ _ S _ _ _ _ _'" Brooke explained back.

"Okay okay. I'm going to talk to Shawn and Nash about this, let's see if we can do a little bit of match making," I whispered into Brooke's ear. "Yeah like you and Shawn and Me and Cam!" She shouted back as we arrived at Shawn's front door.
