"LAPD"

It was finally morning. Penthouse seemed to be under sun's prison: rooms were filled with small and big sun rays, temperature felt to rise up too much, but still didn't trouble Lucifer due to the fact that nothing on earth would ever be able to compare with hell and its torture. The devil went to the kitchen to get his usual
cup of expensive drink which didn't seem to influence on him in any way. Walking into the room he saw a bowl filled with apples. Lucifer ran his fingers all over them and chose the red one which was the only red apple there. He looked at this forbidden fruit and smiled remembering his new friend and that he was planning on calling her.

Lucifer had talked with Chloe's boss and she agreed on making a job interview with Regina. The Devil spent a moment on finding his phone and then called her.

- What? - she said angrily. Her voice seemed pretty sleepy.
- Miss Mills!
- Lucifer? Why are you calling me? Its 7 a.m. for God's sake!
- Get up, im coming to you soon, we are going to LAPD.
- What?
- You wanted to get a job? You have a chance. I give you an hour to get ready.
- Lucifer i swear!
- Hurry up! - he said and hung up.

Regina was really angry but excited. She didn't need so much time to get ready, so, one hour was pretty enough for her. She got ready and made herself a cup of tea, and was waiting for Lucifer. She felt thirsty for her new adventures, and for this time they were related to investigations. LAPD - Los Angeles' Police Department. She had read a lot about it. Solving crimes, catching bad ones was exactly what she wanted. Mills had some experience in this kind of things. Frankly, she could connect her life with politics, but it was awfully annoying to her. She wanted differences in her life, and she was ready to go for them.

A long and annoying ringing of her phone took Regina out of her thoughts. She came closer to the window and saw a familiar black car, standing in front of her house. The Devil had arrived. Regina took all her documents and left. Lucifer was waiting for her outside

- Good Morning, Your Majesty!
- Good? - she came closer to him. Lucifer could smell her fascinating perfume - Do something like this one more time and i swear, im gonna rip your heart out - she said and smiled.
- But i kept my promise, right, Miss Mills?
- Yes you did. Thank you.

They got into the car and drove away. The department was pretty far from her house. They decided, that every morning Regina will come to Lucifer, and he will drive her. Also Regina found out that Lucifer was spending his time there, helping some detective, who's name she forgot.

When they finally arrived Regina saw a big building, consisting of several departments. When they came in, building seemed to be even more pleasant, than a few seconds ago. There were so many people, probably working on different investigations. Mills lightly examined the place, she was going to work in. Frankly, she liked it pretty much.

Suddenly she saw a black-haired, woman coming to them. From the first sight, from her appearance and the impression of her face, Regina somehow understood, that this woman was a very kind one. This was the first thing she thought of.

- Lucifer! - the woman said happily and looked at Regina with a big smile on her face - who's this Lucifer?
- Regina, this is Ella Lopez, my friend, and a little psycho.
- Hey! Don't listen to him, im not.
- Ella, this is Regina Mills, she is also my friend. She is going to work here with us.
- Nice to meet you, Ella. - Regina said and smiled. She, frankly, liked her. Mills wasnt that kind of a person, who was fond of making friends, but Ella seemed to be really nice.

Ella didn't say anything, she just hugged Regina. Her Majesty was surprised, but pleased. Nobody  ever hugged her after five minutes of knowing. This just proved, that Regina's opinion about Ella was an absolute truth. When they ended hugging Lucifer said: " Lets introduce you, Miss Mills, to others, shall we?".

They went to the detective's office. When they came in, nobody was there and Ella said: " I'm gonna find her", and as soon as she was going to go, detective came in. It was a woman. She was higher, than Regina, but not so much. The woman had blonde wavy hair and big blue eyes.

- Hello, Ella, Lucifer...and? - she said uncertainty
- This is - Lucifer began.
- Im Regina Mills. - Regina said confidently, interrupting the Devil

The atmosphere was rather tense. Both of them smiled, but Regina couldn't say that this woman was the same as Ella. But she wasn't so bothered by her, truly, she didn't even care. Lucifer noticed the situation becoming tenser and said:

- So this is Regina, and ,Miss Mills, this is Chloe Decker, the detective im working with.
- Nice to meet you - Chloe said - Lucifer had been telling me about you.
- Really? - she looked at him - Well, yes, nice to meet you.
- Regina will work here with us.
- Does the boss know? - Chloe asked
- No, but i was just going to talk to her - Regina said.
- Awesome, we have another woman in our team - Ella said - Now everything seems rather fair. Two men and two women.
- Two men? - Regina asked
- Yeah, you haven't met Daniel Espinosa, our "law-maker" - Lucifer said
- "Law-maker"?
- Don't pay attention, they doesn't really got along. - Chloe said.

Regina didn't say anything, just looked at Lucifer and asked

- So, when does my "job interview" begin?
- You can actually go now.
- Ok.

Regina took her stuff and confidently left the office, while Lucifer was watching her and smirking. " I like her" - Ella said

Her Majesty wasn't even nervous. She was sure that this job is already her.
When she entered the room, she saw a woman sitting and writing something

- Hello?
- Oh, Hey , Regina Mills, right?
- Yes.
- Sit down, please.

Regina came closer, put her documents on the table and looked at the woman.

- So, you came here to get a job?
- Yes.
- Why did you choose this kind of job.
- Well, i have a great experience in this kind of things, i mean crimes and investigations, i was a mayor in the past so...
- You were?
- Yes. The mayor of Storybrooke. I guess you had never heard about this town?
- Actually no.
- Well i thought it will be good for you to have more workers, right?
- Yes, well, if you want i can offer you a job. You will work with the detective Decker.

Regina stoped for a moment looking at her and said:

- But shes already working with Lucifer Morningstar.
- Lucifer comes and helps her with her investigations, but he is not officially working here. It's purely his initiative
- Oh.
- If you don't get tired of making reports, you can freely work with Chloe. You will investigate all the crimes with her and make reports.
- Is she doing the same thing?
- Yes actually.
- Well, i agree.
- Great. Your work starts with the next crime, for now you are free.
- Thank you.
- No problem.

Regina left the office. She wasn't even surprised. Mills was already excited for her new work. Ella came to her immediately and asked about how did everything go. Lucifer and Chloe came either

- Well. What can i say? The job is mine. I was told to work with Chloe and making reports of future investigations, so i agreed.
- I guess we are working together from now? - Chloe said happily
- Yes. - Regina responded. - im going home, does anybody else go?
- Yes, me - Ella said.
- Wait! I was going to drive you, Miss Mills - Lucifer said
- Not today! Lets go, Regina.

Ella took Reginas hand and they left the LAPD. Regina was happy to walk home with Ella. She was sure of making friend with her. Mills hadn't met Daniel, but it wasn't bothering her at all. For now, she was only waiting for the new crimes,  to start her working days.
