An Adoption Gone Right

The Wedding

*2 weeks later*
Jacob POV
Hadri called me.
"Hey Jake! I just called to tell you that Perce and I bought a house on neutral territory. You can come whenever you want." I grinned. They were free of Bella now. I raced over to the house that had been for sale. I knocked on the door along with Paul, who Percy called. Hadri opened the door with a smile. I made sure to touch everything, Paul did too. Our scent would warn the vampires away. I sat on the couch with them. We were talking when we heard a knock on the door. Hadri cast a one way see through spell on it. It was a mailman! Percy answered it. He received a frilly envelope that reeked of leech. He opened it.
"Looks like we're invited to Bella's wedding. Are we going?" I huffed.
"I'm not. Paul, you and Leah go. You're the least approachable." He grinned. I almost felt bad for the vamps.

*2 days later*
Paul POV
Me and Leah showed up with Hadri and Perce as requested. Isabella marched up in her wedding dress.
"Where's Jake?" I smirked.
"If you wanted Jacob, you should've sent him a private invite." She flushed in fury. I helped set out the tables while Leah stood protectively next to Hadri and Perce. When it was finished, we took our seats in the wedding hall. The rest of the guests arrived, and Charlie walked Isabella down the isle. After the ceremony the speeches happened. None of us had to make a speech. I noticed there was a lot of vegetarian vampires here. They all crowded around Bella.

Bella POV
I engaged in a conversation with Irene about the wolves.
"They killed my mate, Laurant." I realized the perfect opportunity.
"No. Perseus killed Laurant. The wolves came charging in 2 seconds after Perseus set him on fire." She hissed and left. I talked to the other Denali coven members. After the party I left with Edward. It was time for our honeymoon.

Hadri POV
After Edward and Bella left, I sighed in relief and relaxed.
"You feeling better?" Jacob asked me, I nodded with a happy smile. He hugged me. I went upstairs and took off the suit I wore. I changed into casual clothes, brought it downstairs, and allowed Jacob to burn it. Perce did the same with Paul. I walked back upstairs to the bathroom and ran myself a hot bath. Getting in, I could feel my muscles relax. The lack of tension between my shoulders hadn't ever really existed. I hadn't had time like this, ever. I took an hour long bath.

Jacob POV
The only thing that reassured me that my imprint wasn't dead, was the happy sighing coming from the bathroom. When Hadri emerged looking so relaxed, I felt some of my own stress fade away. Percy then went up. Another hour, and we were all back in the kitchen. We had a smallish dinner before watching Lord of the Rings. Both me and Paul had a gigantic bowl of popcorn. We spent our time keeping an eye on Legolas' face. So worth it! Hadri leans over to me.
"I wonder if they'll make a movie about the first and second age." I grinned. What an excellent idea. I was so going to write the producers. I mean, they have the material. Why not use it? I nodded. The First Age of Arda was one I wanted to see. Reading books is great, but going to the movies made the whole thing real.
"I hope they do." I looked back at the screen. It was the drinking contest! Go Legolas go! I laughed as Gimli toppled over. Such prime entertainment! I admired the architecture in Rohan. However, good as it was, Minas Tirith was so much grander. I smiled and watched the characters on screen play out their roles. Go Orlando Bloom! Make those weird faces without getting caught! Honestly, the only actor I like better is Jonny Depp. The Pirates of the Caribbean would be trash without that guy. He's the centerpiece of that entire series! I watch as Eowyn stabs the Witch King in the face. If I ever have a daughter, that's gonna be one of her names. I close my eyes as Frodo sails away with the elves to Valinor. Percy takes out the DVD and we all fall asleep on the couches.
