The bell rang. It was very loud, seemingly louder than it usually was. It was Friday, meaning that when everyone went home, they would have to worry about nothing other than the next Monday. Kasumi seemed to only be interested in was going to Arisa's basement to practice. Kasumi picked up her guitar, still in case, and began to shuffle down the crowded hallway. she opened her locker to get her outdoor shoes, when a black envelope fell out. She opened it. As it turns out, the envelope held an invitation to a formal party. The date was set for today, meaning that Kasumi had to cancel her plans. By now, everyone had gone home, except for Saya, who was just about to walk out the door. "Saya, I don't think I can make it to practice today..." Kasumi says, handing Saya the note. Saya looks shocked. "Kasumi, I got that same letter!" Saya then pulls out her letter, identical to Kasumi's. Kasumi's eyes grew wide. "I guess I'll have a friend if you go with me!" Kasumi grins. Saya laughs, and begins to walk with Kasumi. All worries of missing practice melted away, as they walked home together.
