Chapter 6

Rico....

"Gimme my monaaay." I said slapping my card down smiling, Pedro sighed like all the other loosers. I was on now. I won me some toilet paper, 2 candy bars and a pair of socks.

"Let's go again." This dude asked as me and Pedro.

"Nah we good, wouldn't wanna take yall shit again." I laughed and Pedro joined in.

"I wasn't asking i was telling you." He said.

I looked over at Pedro , who was looking at me like "This nigga got me fucked up" i gave him the chris brown face that said "Right"

"Well we was telling you."  Pedro says and the man stands up. I slide my candy and socks in my pocket.

"Who the fuck you think you talkin to?" He asked, the yard sensed tension and started looking.

"Nigga Did he did he did he s-s-studder?" I asked. And Pedro laughed and the nigga swung on him and Pedro dodged it and quickly began beatin the dude ass. Dude friend decided he was gone jump in but i wasn't having it and i knocked dude down just as soon as he thought he was gone tag Pedro from behind. Me and Pedro whooped them niggas til 12 came and broke it up and threw us in the hole.

     It was cold ,wet & dark down there, but at least me and Pedro could still hear each other ,cuz we were right next to each other in different holes.

"Aye Rico?"

"Sup?"i asked smacking on my candy bar.

"Thanks for looking out... Grabbin my back when niggas tried me."

"Ain't really never had friends..so i try to be a good one, You cool and shit, and i know you would've did the same. You my nigga , shit and when you get outta here we still gone be boys." 

"Why you in here Rico?"

"Robbery... Some real dumb shit, i aint have no money, i was hungry...shit i was homeless.. So i start juggin and finessing, a nigga was  16, and i had already touched a million off that shit , but i met this bitch name Tesha, we start fuckin and what not, i caught feelings, got her pregnant on mistake, my money was running low, i aint wanna be a broke ass can't do nothin for my baby or my baby mama, i was likr fuck it told Tesha lets rob a bank on some Bonnie and Clyde shit. She agreed, so after we planned the shit out, we went to go rob the shit, she was pregnant, she said she would wait outside ,on the side of the bank , i agreed cuz... I ain't want my seed to get hurt if shit went wrong. So i go in that bitch and get the cash easy, but when i came out the bank it was a million cops around, Tesha no where to be found, im thinking they done caught her, so i surrender , i turn around to see who was readin me my rights and it was Tesha opp ass. They locked my ass up, 7 to 10 years, bond a million."

     "Damn.... That's some movie type shit, that's why you can't trust these hoes."

"Yeah.. So why you here?"

"They tried to pin a family homicide on me, but ain't have no evidence, couldn't find the bodies, no bodies no case, it didnt stand in trial, so they caught me on a drug charge. I got a month and a half left, they gave me 5 years, no bond."  Pedro said.

"They was just mad they couldn't pin them bodies on you." I said Gettin comfortable sitting against the wall.

"Hell yeah..."

"Did you do it?"

"Do what?"

"Kill that family?"

Pedro laughed and that gave me all my answers, he killed them motherfuckas.

"Rico.... I'll pay yo bond... But i need you to do somethin for me."

"Im listening."

"Shit, i need you to take care of my chicken coop. Make sure the eggs straight, make sure my cows get milked, and that ain't nobody racing my horses. " Pedro said speaking in code.

"Nigga i aint know you was a farmer." I said and Pedro bust out laughing. "But yeah i got you tho."

"Alright Rico... It's just cuz i trust you, and i can't let yo ass do 7 to 10 years in this bitch knowin i could get you out... And I'm paying you to sell my farming goods."

"Thanks dawd."

"What are brothers for?"
