Anaya Carson. The 11th grade player of the school. She was gorgeous, natural beauty combined with body enhancing clothing and well applied makeup. Her stunning blue eyes, plump lips, perfect face structure, curly, brown hair, and adorable dimple made her somehow hot while cute at the same time, which became dangerous combined with her undeniable charm. Unfortunately, the guys at her school, Mortana high, couldn't seem to catch on that it was too good to be true.
Every guy dropped like flies around Anaya, and that's the way she liked it. She was like a queen of sorts, every peasant would drop to lick her shoes if she wished for such. On the same note, girls would kiss up to her for connections of sorts to all parties, and of course, popularity.
Anaya wasn't the smartest, a C average at best, but that's not what she was interested in anyway. Even if she did try, it wouldn't make a difference. Not like it mattered when she had people in the palm of her hands that she could command to practically do anything, which made it easy to get grades when need be.
Like most high schools though, the brunette wasn't the only popular and/or desired girl at school. This wasn't some stupid teen movie with one queen bee, there was multiple that liked to stir up drama on occasion, which Anaya found annoying. Yeah, playing with people's hearts and treating certain boys like toys was entertaining to her, but starting some sort of controversy about other people was a bother and too much work to put up with in the end.
Speaking of drama, Natalie. Ugh, Natalie Parks. A girl who was in the same position as Anaya, but consistently found something to bitch about and fuss about to the whole school. That was her thing. While Anaya found toying with boy's hearts enjoyable, Natalie was more fascinated with putting others down using drama and other people. In a way, the brunette could respect that, but at the same time, it was deceitful to hide behind others and look innocent in your actions when you clearly weren't. That's what bothered her about it. It's like she was hiding behind a shield of people while hurting others while Anaya first hand hurt others, and she'll admit that to you. 'I'm a bitch' was a very common part of her conversations, not to mention: 'I'm such a slut.'
However, with everything being so easy in popularity and dating, it left Anaya bored. She wanted something different, someone to challenge her, and she wasn't quite sure what or who that would be.
As a boy from a few weeks ago struck a conversation with Anaya, she once again found herself exhausted. Of course, she smiled and giggled occasionally while agreeing, but she wasn't there mentally. The usual blush and obvious infatuation the boy had in his eyes, especially after her smile and laugh, usually would entertain her enough to distract from her boredom, but even that wasn't working.
That's when she saw a familiar boy walk past in her peripheral vision. The brunette slowly shifted while standing, grabbing her books even tighter to her chest, which made the boy, Evan, oggle even more, especially towards a certain dip in her shirt. Uninterested in continuing the conversation, she politely excused herself from Evan and followed after the familiar boy.
Jimin Park.
Before you think anything, she had absolutely no interest in the male, but unfortunately, she had to work on a project with him. She hoped for anyone but him, but her magic can only get her so far.
One thing she was kind of thankful for was the fact that Jimin was smart, and the fact that he hated her too. This meant that he had no interest in inviting her over to work on it or even working on it together, and since he gave half a shit about his grade, he would never leave a whole project grade up to Anaya.
As she approached him, she smiled a sickeningly sweet smile before leaning against the lockers next to him.
"Hey Jiminie~." She cooed, smirking slightly. This was probably one of the best ways to get under his skin almost immediately and she knew it.
"Go away, I'm doing our project so don't ask about it." Jimin coldly stated, quickly opening his locker to stuff random text books and gifts in. Did I mention he was the heart throb of the school as well? There were many, but he was one of the hottest male heart throbs the school had to offer, and boy was he a snack, with 5 C's.
"Don't be so hostile Jiminie~ I just wanted to talk." She teased once more, pouting slightly, something that would have worked on every guy except him, of course. He harshly slammed his locker door, clearly frustrated with Anaya's presence already.
"I'm not in the mood for your bullshit right now." Once again, he dismissed her, waving his hand, signalling for her to leave. A long sigh escaped her lips as she followed him, she at least wanted to know what topic he had decided upon for their English project. The sound of her converse clicked against the tile floor as she followed suit, her crop top flowing slightly with her movement.
"Fine, but at least tell me--" She was cut off by a random whining voice that stopped Jimin from moving.
"Jimiiiiiiiin." A voice groaned in a whiny manner. Soon enough, a cute boy with orange-redish hair cut into view and grabbed onto Jimin's arm. Of course, Jimin stopped and looked down at the boy before letting his lips lift into a smile.
"Hey jungkook, what's up?" Jimin calmly asked, once again ignoring Anaya who was right behind him. The boy, presumably Jungkook, gave off a cute vibe, especially with the way he was holding Jimin, but he had to be 5'10 and was built.
"I got a B on my test!" He whined loudly, clearly displeased. The brunette behind them both became slightly fascinated, something she rarely felt about a male as they both continued on in conversation.
"A B is a good grade, why exactly are you upset?" The other male shifted and pulled at the blonde's arm in a hissy fit, looking up at him. Anaya watched this happen and shifted slightly to a cuter pose, tilting her head to the side slightly.
"I mean, I rarely can manage a C, so I applaud you for a B. Don't let grades turn that cute smile into a frown." She spoke up, letting out a slight giggle. The brunette smiled, knowingly presenting her dimple as she seductively twirled a finger around her finger and licked her lips, a move that worked on every boy lucky enough to witness it. Jungkook looked back at the previously unknown presence.
That's when his mouth formed an 'o' as he looked back at the alluring female, before standing straight and replying 'thank you' to the female.
That's what she thought would happen anyway.
Instead, Jungkook looked back, and swiftly turned his attention back to Jimin, muttering a 'thank you?' to Anaya before they walked off down the hallway. Their bantering could be heard as they continued off down the hallway, and Anaya was left their dumbfounded. How did he not swoon over her? Any time she bit her lip, smiled, and gave compliments, a boy would usually talk to her a little more, hell, at least they would look at her a little. He barely even gave her a glance.
A fire burned within the brunette and that's when she realized. This was perfect, exactly what she needed in fact. This was the challenge she needed, something to change up her normal routine.
She stared into the hallway as their silhouettes turned a corner, the edge of her lips curling into a smile.
'Challenge accepted Jungkook'
