Rain.

That's all I saw when I opened my eyes for the first time in....

Who knows how long.

I released a deathly sounding moan as I pushed myself off of the ground. My arm and the left side of my face felt sticky and warm.

The blood is still kinda warm, I thought, At least I wasn't out for to long.

Another groan escaped my my lips as I stood up. My eyes squeezed shut as my my feet took my wait. Why was I so soar? I shook my head and forced my eyes open. I scanned the landscape, taking in all the bodies, the blood and the destruction that accompanied the fight that once had taken place in this church. I turned to my left and spotted one of my knives that lay on the floor, half hidden by a particularly bloody guy. I limped over and bent down to grab the knife, when I felt the warmth of air on my neck. I let my fingers wander to the handle of the knife as I closed my eyes and focused on the air,and my surroundings. There was no noises,no movement.

Where had it come from?

I let my fingers enclose around the knife and slowly stood back up, trying to keep from falling over.

You can always heal yourself, you know?

Of course I knew, but I didn't care too. My abilities didn't fall in the healing zone. In other words,it wasn't my talent. My abilities lied elsewhere, even though I didn't use them often.

Slowly,I turned around, that's where I saw him.
