THE BREEZE shifted the branches on Thalia's Pine tree, and blew my hair out of my face. My blue eyes searched the starlit sky as the waves washed calmly on shore, making the perfect background noise for a peaceful night. Except, This night wasn't peaceful. At least not for me. I knew the cleaning Harpies would arrive soon, and If they caught me, I would most likely find my new home on the fancy plates that were served in the dining pavilion. I didn't care. I needed to find him. My heart wouldn't have it any other way. Reaching out my hand, I felt that familiar tugging sensation in my gut, and the vines soon engulfed me, swallowing even the moon's pale light.
