Chapter 2: Old day's, New Day

As mikey patrol in the streets in Syria, mikey was walking with his platoon until he sees a child walking by him and waves at him, mikey waves back at the child as he walks into a store, when mikey walks by the store seconds later it explodes making mikey fly back on the ground then later as he opens his eye he sees something he cannot forget.

(Flashback Ends)

Mikey awakes and sits up breathing hard and sweating he go through his backpack and takes out a tablet of pills and takes one making him calm down then looks at the clock its 7am in the morning so he gets ready for training
and goes to the gym where the operators include ela is working so he joins her.
Ela: "morning michal."
Mikey: "morning sis, where's zofia?"
Ela: "she's at the shooting range, looking for her?"
Mikey: "no elżbieta, any ways im going here be right."
Ela: "I'll join you after im done with this."
Mikey: "alright." as mikey was going to lift weights, he heard a angry yell from ela so he looks around as sees what looks like fresh recruits bugging ela so he walks to them.
Recruit: "come on baby, we will give you a good time if you come with us for a bit."
Ela: "first off i will not go with a stranger with his friends, second who are you trying to take a girl to or going to do to a girl, leave me alone!"
Recruit: "come on." as he was about to grab ela, mikey grabs his throat and throws him to his friends getting the attention from the operators working out there.
Mikey: "ela are you ok?"
Ela: "yes, he touched my ass and try to take me somewhere." mikey takes ela behind her as he faces the recruit and his friends.
Recruit: "looks here tough guy, you don't know who i am, either move out of the way or your going to regret it!"
Mikey: "I've fought in battlefields against battle harden enemies, you and your goons look like you've all still in training, not in this team." this made the recruit mad and as he was about to throw a fist at mikey, blackbeard and tachanka goes by mikey's side then others surround them making the recruit and his friends back up.
Recruit: "just you wait, I'll deal with you later and i will have her soon as a fuck toy, lets go." as the recruit and his goons walk out of the gym mikey looks at ela who is in shock what she heard.
Mikey: "don't worry ela, im here with you."
Blackbeard: "yup were with you ela."
Tachanka: "if they want to get you, they have to come through the lord." ela smiles and nods.
Ela: "thanks guys, michal lets go training."
Mikey: "after you sis." then the siblings started training in the gym.

(Time Skip Afternoon near Night)

Before mikey was about to go in his dorm, ela approached him with a worried face.
Mikey: "what wrong ela?"
Ela: "zofia left a note saying she's going on a mission, so... can i sleep in your room with you?"
Mikey: "are you sure?"
Ela: "after that, im just scared to sleep alone." mikey was thinking about and nods.
Mikey: "fine, come in." ela walks in and an sits on the bed and looks around his room then mikey comes back with her tanktop and shorts.
Mikey: "here." he gave them to her and ela walks in the bathroom to change her clothes. while he was doing that, mikey took pills to make him calm down not telling ela about his problems, he never told anyone not even his mother.

(Earlier)

Mikey was called by doc to be in his office as he entered the office doc is sitting on a chair.
Mikey: "you need me?"
Doc: "yes, have a seat." mikey sat across the table.
Doc: "I've recently got medical records of you after your time in Syria, and they said your injures are mental, can you please explain." doc sees mikeys eyes twich as his legs began to shake a little.
Doc: "its ok, you don't have to-"
Mikey: "everytime i sleep i see... ghosts of dead people, i even see a dead child haunting me as if i killed him, im not a killer, i did not kill them, i did not save them, i... don't know if i can trust anyone, if they know about my combat history they will view me as this maniac, this sick bastard, a disgrace..."
Doc: "i see, and you take pills to calm you down?"
Mikey: "yes, and no im not a drug addict."
Doc: "don't worry as long as you have a prescription, are you almost out of pills?"
Mikey: "no, i got new ones."
Doc: "ok, anything else?"
Mikey: "you can't tell anyone about this not even my siblings, please."
Doc: "ok for now only we know about this, i hope you get well."
Mikey: "thanks." mikey gets up and leaved the office."

(Right Now)

Mikey was done changing and ela walks out and saw scars running on his back as he puts on his shirt.
Mikey: "oh your done?"
Ela: "yeah, anyways im tired from all the training."
Mikey: "same." when ela lays on the bed mikey sat as he pulls out his pistol puts it on the safety and lay it on the drawer then lays down as ela hugs hugs his back.
Ela: "thank you michal." he smiles then felt sleepy all the sudden, for the first time ever he felt safe around someone.
Mikey: "your welcome ela." then both sleep for the afternoon and night.
