Sky Girl

The Beginning

My name is Adali Zena, and I come from a planet called Olympias.
After my family fled from the Olympi War on our home planet, we landed in a strange place where our kind were able to reside above land, just like we did back home. There wasn't a place where land existed on our planet. We lived in a kingdom our Gods created, and we had the ability to survive in the sky on this planet we landed upon. When the sky darkened, we were visible like the stars. Whenever the sun was out, we were cloaked unless if we left the palace. This strange planet was beautiful and its man-like race called it Earth.

Eventually one day passed when a man fled through the sky nearby our home. We grew up scared. We thought they knew about us. But as I grew up, I got used to seeing it because they never found us. This Earth was filled with people similar to us, so I became comfortable just like my brother did. Our parents, not so much. They never let us leave to explore this Earth. Except as I became an adult, my curiosity strengthened. And one day, I went ahead and decided to leave our Skyland.

By doing so, I landed on the surface of this world for the first time. I noticed a person in particular, someone who wasn't from this planet but from a world I went to when I was little, a Starhavenite. They recognized me. I looked around and people gathered everywhere, mostly those who were born here. The further I walked closer downtown, I heard faint screams across the other side of the park. Many people ran away from the area as I sped into the air and saw the caped man again. They fought off the alien as I watched. When I found the opportunity to help them, I zoomed in with a strong punch which successfully stopped them. The caped man, or I should say woman, returned unharmed as they landed in front of me. All she did was thank me, while I noticed she had a Kryptonian coat of arms on her chest. I decided to leave as I flew off.

As I floated in the skyline, something pierced my arm. I knew to pull it out of my skin along with the chip it inserted.

Instead of returning home, I landed on top of the roof of a tall building which for some reason had a large H painted on it. It was there where I saw the woman again. I dropped the chip on the surface which didn't affect me to "dose off". My people were immune to any type of drugs because of the oxygen on Olympias. As she talked, I was unable to speak the same language for some reason. She spoke a tongue I understood. I managed a few words as she approached me closer. She told me she was this superhero and held out her hand. I stepped back and looked around as I heard a loud breeze. Someone landed beside me. My brother. He followed me. We argued as we weren't alone despite my words making absolutely no sense. He didn't leave me much of a choice and dragged me home.

Unfortunately, neither of us considered she would follow us. This superhero entered our home. An army banded and shot at her except she didn't budge. She wondered why we bothered like we knew of her. But we didn't. My father noticed she was Kryptonian and told them to stand down.

Our planet, Olympias, held an alliance with Krypton as a way to shield us by keeping our existence a secret so we could be safe from world eaters like Brainiac. Except by doing that, when Krypton became a target and was forced to its destruction, it led invaders to our planet which we called the Olympi War. It was our Olympi warriors who were controlled by our enemy in which resulted in our kind to fight against us - the ones who weren't affected. Most of us, managed to flee our world. And that's how we got here.

In the end, we agreed to an alliance so that we can be protected should we go to the ground again. Since then, I've been helping protect this Earth along with my brothers and cousins.
