you leaving wasn't the hardest part, the hardest part was when you came back

chapter 11 - Lewis is back part 1!

Elliot goes out the car, standing next to Olivia looking up at her windows and then at her " maybe someone wants to surprise you are you expecting someone tonight?" he said " what?" she asked confused " you know a boyfriend you forgot you had and forgot to tell me about" she punched him playfully on the arm " no and you are an idiot " she said smiling. " where do you have Noah? " he asked worried " the babysitter have him at her place tonight since I work so late"  " okay good... ill go up  with you Liv " " okay ....wait" she said as she felt her phone vibrating in her pocket. it was a text message from an unknown number.

she became pale in the face and the fear took over her whole body when she read the message. it said "remember me, detective Benson? we have some unfinished business you and me I can see you from your window, you better come up alone, it's gonna be a bloodbath if he comes up with you ! you don't wanna see your boyfriend get hurt or maybe you do?  /your worse nightmare" 

how did he get in my apartment this time? she thought to herself "Liv what's wrong ?" Elliot asked, Olivia didn't take her eyes from her phone few second past and another text message appeared on her phone.

I'm getting impatient here detective!  

  "not again"  her heart beats faster " Liv " she ignored Elliot, he gets in front of her "what's wrong? who is the text from and what does it say?" she looked at him and then back at her phone " show it to me " "he should be in jail" she didn't respond to Elliot ,Elliot tries to take her phone from her,  then she cames back from her thoughts, took her hand away before he could even touch the phone and looked at him " it's no one, drive home El, I just realized that I must have had forgotten to turn the light off before getting to work. I'll see you tomorrow. " she tries to smile and walk away but he took her by the arm he didn't buy it, he knows her and he knows when she is lying.  " Liv you can't-fool me what's wrong?"  " nothing go home...please " she said quietly  and pulled loose from his grip she started walking towards the building door he catches up with her and got in front of her again " show me the text " " El please just leave I'll be fine " she told him, " you know me Liv I'm not leaving, I can see that you are scared " " you have to he is watching us " she said quietly while looking down at her feet " who Liv?" she looked up at him and he saw a tear rolling down her face " Lewis and he is gonna kill you if you come up with me please just go El I have faced him once I can do it again " she said but he ignored her. 

 " do you have your gun on you?" he asked her " yes but E.." "good I left mine in my locker, give it to me " she shook her head " no he is looking at us you don't know what he is capable of." he held out his hand for her so she could give him the gun " and he doesn't know what I'm capable of," he said with anger. she didn't argue because she knew what he meant. she handed him the gun "God... I don't wanna face him again he hunts my dreams,i...i can't... what he did to me last time... I have flashbacks and everywhere I go I can still see him " she was now crying he pulled her to him and wrapped his arms around her " he is never gonna hurt you again I'll make sure of that" he whispered against her neck. 

they pulled away and he grabbed her hand " im your partner for better or worse" he said. those words made her smile.

they entered the building and then the elevator. he took up the gun and got it ready " you stay behind me " he said as they walked out. they got closer to the door quietly, trying to hear something then  He kicked the door in. it was quiet Elliot stepped inside with Olivia behind him. " I told you to come alone " his voice was close. Elliot felt his breath on his neck and Olivia slowly turned her head  and saw Lewis standing behind Elliot with his arm around his neck holding a  knife against his neck. " drop the gun " he ordered  Elliot but instead of dropping the gun he punched him in the face with his elbow making him stumble backward, then Elliot turns and kicks him making him fall and then kick him again  and again, " get up ! " Elliot commended, Lewis stands up and fights back, Elliot grabbed him and pushing him against the wall " I'm gonna kill you for what you did to her " Elliot is angry he starts punching him hard with his fists. Lewis kicked Elliot between his legs making him fall to the floor.

Olivia noticed the knife that Lewis dropped on the floor and picked it up she had her gun in the other hand. Lewis was now on top of Elliot on the floor strangling him Olivia walked over and pointed the gun to his head " get off him ... now!" she yells he stops and looked at her he started laughing. " I am not afraid to shoot you ... get off him !" he gets off him and kicked her on the leg making her fall to the floor and dropping the gun he quickly took it and got on top of her. he leans forward to her face " you have been a bad girl detective " he says against her ear. She is trying to fight him of her  " you leave her alone! " Elliot yelled  lifting himself up he wants to kick him off her but Lewis  points the gun to her head " one step closer and she is dead " he says not taking his eyes from Olivia " what do you want from me this time ?" she asked in fear " you know what I want baby " he said she swallowed hard. he got off her and grabbed her arm and lifting her up, holding the gun to her head the whole time. Elliot just stood there helpless he couldn't do anything, his eyes met hers, he saw the fear in them. " Liv it's gonna be okay "

Lews pointed the gun at Elliot and holding Olivia close to him with his other hand " I'm sorry but you weren't invited " BOOM! BOOM!  aaaaaaaaaaaa!! " Olivia cried out watching Elliot's body hitting the floor " nooooooo Elliot !!  " she yelled crying but he didn't move, "I told you not to bring him up with you "he dragged her into her own bedroom " Elliot!aaaaa! " ..........
