Chapter 6: Friend or Foe?

       With my hearing not needed I focused all energy on touch...the cold hands moved up from my shoulders to my mouth, so now I all I could do is worry fun.....who in the hell is this and why did he drag me up to a tree Marco's words echoed in my head 'you could burn the whole forest down'. THAT'S IT!!!! I tried really hard to catch fire, again, but nothing, absolutely nothing. The stranger stared right at me with confusion as if that was the only unusual thing happening then a sigh is let out.
"You need to stop whatever you're doing" they said with a small chuckle
I bit their hand " you need to stop!!! What are you doing?!"
They hold their hand "shut up!! You need to stay quiet the rulers don't want us out past 10 and it's midnight so good job retard!"
I didn't know what had overcome me, but my feelings were absolutely murdered and so the first tear ran down my cheek, but if water kills me what am I crying? I wiped the tear away and it was..BLOOD?! What the hell?!?  Before I could realize it's danger I began to sob...loud "I-I'm new ok?! I don't understand anything!!! I'm sorry... " the man shoves her out of the tree "shut your freaking mouth!! God why did I try to help you're worthless..." he walks away mumbling. So there I was left alone...again but I had one thing to keep me company, my hurt feelings, so without anything else to do I cried, a lot. Spot lights appeared around the town and sirens went off it was mass chaos, and if I were to move I would be seen. The intercom screamed " EVERYONE REMAIN CALM SOMEONE IS TRYING TO ESCAPE, SO ON A BETTER NOTE MEET IN THE MIDDLE OF TOWN TOMORROW WE ARE HOSTING ANOTHER HUMILIATION EVENT!!" I was shocked they want to humiliate people?? How harsh are my parents? I can't let them do that to someone who is smart enough to know this town is bad news. I know what to do! I sit up forgetting I shouldn't move, and the spotlights huddled around me fuck. The sirens get louder and I cover my ears it would all be over soon...I hope

Little did I know how right I was, now I know why they say be careful what you wish for
