February 14th 2019:
David is sitting locked in this room alone on this bed, staring down at the ring he gave Liza their first Valentine's day they spent together. Of course after they broke up she gave it back. He fidgeted it in his figures then all of a sudden grabbed this phone, he opened his messages and went to Liza. He scrolled up, really far up until he reached back in 2017. He looked at the messages so many causal "i love you", "good night", "see you soon babe" messages. Tears started forming in his eyes. Then he hears the notification sound. It's a text from Liza. The new message thing pops up at the bottom and as fast as he can, he clicks it.
Liza texted him: "Are you still coming over to film that bit?"
"Yeah, I'll be there soon" he responded
The someone starts knocking on his room door
Jason calls "David come here so we can film a bit"
David wipes his tears, "ok I'll be right out" he takes a deep breath and puts on his black hat. He walks out with a big fake smile and his camera
After David and Jason film a bit he gets into his Tesla and drives to Lisa's house.
Once he's at Liza's apartment he slowly knocks on door. And quickly she opens it
"Hey. David, come in" she moves to the side and let's him in the doorway. David sits down on the baige couch and turns on his camera. Liza sits down next to David. Not too close. They film the bit. As David is turning off his camera he looks up at Liza. Back down on his camera. Once the camera is off he stands up. Liza looks up at him with a smile. David just looks at her, sitting there on the couch. He just stares and her smile starts to fade. She looks confused... And concerned. "I-i miss you." He stuttered
"wha..?"
"I miss you" he said with no hesitation and he stopped looking at her and just put his head down
"David..." Liza said quietly
"I know, i know" he said quickly grabbing his camera and adjusting his hat. And just as he was about to open the door..
"Wait.." Liza said
David looked back at her
"I...I miss you too." She finally admited
David turned around
"but we can't be together..."
"i know" he said as he was about to leave.
"im sorry" Liza said quietly
"what" David asked
"im such a mess" she says getting up, "i messed up our relationship. I messed up everything...im sorry" she said starting to cry
"Liza it isn't your fault-"
"Of course it is" said through her tears "I was the one who broke up with you, I was the one who put you through pain. Its my fault David."
"You weren't the one who put me in pain Liza. It was seeing you go through pain and knowing i couldn't help you.." He wiped his tears "I spent this past year we weren't together blaming myself because i wasn't there for me when you needed me most. Its my fault. Im the problem"
Liza sat on couch and just cried
"I didn't want to hurt you" she staring at him.
"Well you did" David walked out and slamming the door.
"David wait-" Liza she said running toward the door.
