Tuesday-
"Liiiiv pleeeeeeease!" Chris begged.
"No"
"I'll buy you ice cream!"
"And?" I raised my eyebrow.
"And some AirPods" he sighed.
"Deal" i smirked.
"When's tryouts?" I smiled.
"Thursday after school" Chris grinned walking away.
"ILL BE THERE!" I yelled.
Thursday-
The football captain snorted at me."You wanna play football??" He laughed.
"Yea" I shrugged.
"Chris, I thought you were bringing me something with talent!" He laughed bitterly.
I sneered and folded my arms.
"Chris shes 5'7!" The Captain laughed.
"I'm 5'7 and three quarters!" I corrected.
This just made him laugh harder.
"Ok ok, she's 5'7 and three quarters!" He laughed.
"Soooo?" Chris groaned.
The captain walked around me, looking me up and down, "Chris, she weighs like 110" he said.
"What's your name?" I asked him.
"Jason" he shrugged.
"Ohhh So you're the famous Jason, who fucks girls and never speaks to them again!" I realized.
He huffed, "Shut your face"
"So it is true!" I beamed.
"Can it half pipe!"
"Ok ok, I'm just making sure it's you"
"Throw this ball as hard as you can" Chris said handing me a football.
"Ok?" I said taking it from him.
Chris and Jason stood back, I've thrown a football before but I've never been judged.
I threw the ball and it spiraled perfect.
Chris ran to see where it landed.
"Jason, it's on the 75 yard line" Chris grinned.
"So she can throw, but can she tackle?"
"I don't know, can I?" I said mocking his tone.
"Where's our lightest guy at?" Chris yelled.
Out walked Mike.
"Mike, this kid is gonna try and tackle you" Jason smirked.
"When I blow the whistle" Chris smiled.
When the whistle blew I went for the legs, I hit him with force causing him to fall over.
I gave Jason a smug look, "Can I tackle?" I asked in a sweet voice.
He growled.
Chris gave me a high five.
After tryouts Chris and I walked out to the parking lot together.
"You did great" he smiled.
Aiden ran up to me, "You killed it!" He beamed fist bumping me.
Aiden and I go way back, like being five and six year olds. Aiden was held back so he was in my grade. On top of that our parents were close friends.
Aiden wrapped his arm around my shoulders.
"Off the girl, Aiden" Jason growled.
"Aye man she's my friend" Aiden smirked.
I laughed, "Aye Jason, he's my buddy" I wrapped my arm around his shoulders.
Aiden and I both started laughing.
