Marinette's POV
Ahhh... waking up to the sun shining through the window, the birds chirping to there song... what a beautiful way to wake up.

(Record being scratched kind of sound)

Well that's not how this girl woke up, and everyone knows that a tired Marinette is a grumpy Marinette.

"Shhh, you'll wake them up Nino!"
"I'm not the one that is taking photos and squealing ever five seconds...OW! that hurt! just take the photo already."

FLASH

"Whoopsie, the flash was on."
I start to flutter my eyes open and sit up but something heavy was in my waist preventing me from moving.

When I opened my eyes completely I screamed at the top of my lungs and ended up jumping about three foot in the air before landing on my butt on the hard ground.

"Holy crap, are you alright!"
"Yeah.. I'm fine but you scared the living daylight out of me" I say as I get up and rub my butt.

"Oh My God that was funny AF dude, the way you jumped in the air and feel in the floor, whilst knocking Adrien on the floor as well yes hilarious!!"

"Adrien? I didn't knock hi- Holy Crap ADRIEN are you alright!" I was so confused till I saw him lying on the floor groaning in pain.

"Yep... all good." He said with a reassuring smile. I run over to him and help him up, when I notice that the door was just slammed shut and then I realised, Alya had just ran for her life knowing she was in big shit when I saw her next.

"Well then... I'm going to find my girlfriend."
"Wait what?! GIRLFRIEND!!"
"What... ahh nothing, bye!" And with that Nino also ran out of the room leaving me and Adrien standing there trying to connect the pieces of the puzzle together.

Adrien cleared his throats before speaking "umm... I'm g-going to take a shower?"

"Ahh yeah sure." I watched as he grabbed his clothes and walked into the bathroom leaving me to listen to the sound of water running in the shower.

I took a deep breath in and got changed whilst no one was in the room. Once I was done I wrote a note and left it on Adrien's bed to let him know I was going to be out for the day, before grabbing my satchel and phone, then left the room.

I had been walking around for about 30minutes till I came across a library. It wasn't small but it wasn't big, it also had an old retro look to it, with the brown wooden shelving with old books and a small checkout in the corner. There was even a small section where you could chill and read a book.

When I walked in the bell chummed and a petit elderly lady came out with a bright smile on her face.

"Ahh hello there sweetheart may I help you with anything?"
"Morning, I'm just here to have a sticky beak.. ahh actually do you have any Harry Potter books?"

"Yes right this way.. here you go, the whole collection." I smiled widely at the amazing books. They were in such a good condition it helped lighten up my mood a bit.
"Thank you!"

With that I grabbed the first book 'Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone' and took a seat on the chair in the back of the shop.

Adrien's POV
I turned the hot water on all the way with a tinge of cold and got unchanged, then hopped on the shower. I was in the for about 10 minutes, letting the water run down my body.

I then decided to hope out, so I turned the water off, jumped out and dried myself then got changed.

I hesitated for a moment before opening the door. What if she needs time to think, or if she is getting changed, she was really quite before. What if she is still made or upset at me from the other night. I shrugged my thoughts away and opened the door to be found with the entire room empty.

"Hello... anyone here?" I walked out of the bathroom and saw a white piece of paper on my bed. I picked it up and saw it was from Marinette.

Hey sorry, I'm going to be out for the day, I think I just need some time along to sort things out, especially with the whole 'girlfriend' thing with Nino and Alya.

Sorry if I let you down or made you think I'm made at you because I'm not I just need some space today.

I read the letter over and over again, trying to figure out what she was talking about. Deep down inside I knew it was about me, but she made it sound like she was upset about something else.

If she doesn't want to talk to me then so be it. I set the note down on the table and grabbed my black and white vans before running out the door.

I decided to go have a look around when I came across a little cafe. I checked my watch and noticed it was almost 11 and I still hadn't had breakfast yet so I walked inside and a wave hit me across my face.

The smell of coffe and fresh bakeries reminded me of the Dupain-Cheng bakery back home. I walked up to the counter and ordered myself two crissonts and a coffee to go.

Once got my order I headed back outside when I saw a cute little library. I thought why would there be a library on a cruise ship but realised that it was a whole month stuck on a cruise ship and people would need a place to be alone, so I decide that was where I was going to spend the rest of my day.

When I walked in I was greeted with a cheerful elderly lady. "Hello there sunny boy, how may I help you today?"

"Hi I'd just like to spend my day in an amazing little library surrounded by amazing things people have created and a coffee to keep me moving for the day."

She chuckled quietly before answering "well then, you have come to the perfect place. Please grab any book you please and enjoy your stay."

"Thank you." I reply with a smile and small chuckle before finding a 'Lord of the Rings' book. I picked it up and started reading it whilst trying to find a place to sit and eat.

As I reach the second last row of books I here someone whimper from back if the room. Of course as curiosity took over me I walked out of the ile I was in and headed to the back of the shop.

When I rounded the corner I saw a phone on the floor, so I picked it up but this wasn't just any phone it was Marinette's. I continued to walk when I saw a figure in the corner.

I took a step closer to get a better look when I heard a sob escape there lips. That's when I realised it wasn't just any person, it was my princess, huddled up in the corner of the room with her knees at her chest and her head in her hands.

"P-princess...?"

A/N duh duh duh... cliffhanger.
Okay can I just point this out, I mean we kind saw that coming but what could Marinette be so upset about for the past few weeks? Sorry for updating a little late, this may have a lot of speeding mistakes cause I haven't read over it properly but I wanted to get it out to you either way. Stay tuned to find out
