Shabby life

A person happily married posted today
Don't expect a holy partner
If you live a shabby life
It irked my heart in ways unknown

I am not a constant sinner
On the night I submitted my life
I had given my heart to my saviour
The same day I received the holy spirit

I had my saviour as my anchor
But trust me I was lacking too
My life wasn't as white as snow
But only he knew that part of me

I entrusted my heart to him
And cried to him to keep it safe
Until he brings in the one for me
To whom he could give my heart and me

But in between all the holy days
And the days I grew close to God
There were days I sinned
And days when I cried and repented

But it was a cycle that repeated
I had received promises from my Lord
I depended on his grace and forgiveness
But Lord was my life too shabby?
