Doctor Who: The Candidates {On hold}

Chapter 4: Shan

Aeron Damijan Dismas, turned around slowly to face Agent Rebel of the CIA. She had a Glock 9 Mm pointed at him, and had a detrimed look on her face. Shan could see over Dismas' shoulder that The Doctor, some agent on loan from Scotland Yard, was in postion. He had yet to pull out his weapon, but he crossed his arms and somehow Rebel knew that he wasn't letting anything past him. With her free hand Shan reached into her coat and pressed her pager again, sending her back-up her location. 

"You're surrounded Dismas, don't try and run" She said, the gun still pointed. Not completly a lie, but a lie all the same. Dismas smiled and shook his head. "No my love" He said with a thick acent that Rebel could not place. "It is you that has been surrounded"

All around them, tank like robot with a mechanical shell emerged from the crowd of people. Each one it's own vibrant color, red yellow blue orange. It had an eye stalk and two other shafts coming out of it, which the purposes of it was unknown to Rebel at the moment. She took the gun off Dismas and moved it around to each of the machine/trash can. "What are these things?" She asked to no one in paticular. Dismas did not respond but The Doctor did. "Daleks" 

And for the first time the metal machines talked. They only said one word.

"Exterminate!"

Out of the corner of Shan's eye, she saw the Doctor pull out a small, pen like device and point it into the air. It made a strange noise and then pointed at one of the Daleks. "Why are you here?" He asked the Daleks in general. "To Exterminate the Doctor" One of them responded. The Doctor gave them a troubled expression. Shan noticed what he was doing. He was stalling. She made her way, slowly at first, around the circle of Daleks so that she was close to The Doctor. By now the target, Aeron Damijan Dismas, was long gone. But Agent Toghill had much bigger problems, at the moment.   By the time she had reached him the Daleks were getting tired of his questions and each begain to raise one of their stalks. "What's the plan?" Shan asked the Doctor, her gun pointed at the nearest Dalek's eye stalk. "We run" He responded. Before Shan could say anymore there was a 'Vworp Vworp Vworp' Noise, and then, a blue box started to materialized around them. "Exterminate! Exterminate!" The Daleks started saying frantically, and started shooting beams of light, but it was too late. Shannon Toghill was in the TARDIS.
