"So, what do you think is for dinner?" I asked my brother Mark.
"How am I supposed to know?" He said.
"Just asking geez. Don't get your panties in a twist. " I said.
"Probably meat loaf knowing mom." He said looking at his phone.
We were on the bus to our house. We don't know where we are because we just moved here. Well, sort of. We moved here a few months ago but we still don't know where to go. It's the start of sophomore year. Yaaaaay. Sarcasm intended. I hate being new. Everyone stares at me like I'm crazy.
I wonder if I'll make new friends. I might not stay for a long anyway. What if I--
"Sage! Jesus hurry up, we stopped." I heard Mark scream.
"Oh, sorry." I said.
He rolled his eyes and we walked off the bus. It's dark outside and quiet.
"So, where do we go from here?" I asked.
"I don't know. Always asking questions." He muttered.
"Well, I'm sorry if I don't know where to go." I said.
"If you listened to mom, you would know."
"You don't know where to go either!" I exclaimed.
"I know more than you do." He said.
"Sure you do." I said.
"Well, if you know where to go so much, maybe you should find your own way home." He walked off.
"Wait Mark I--" But he was already gone.
Oh my gawd! He left me. It's to dark for me to see which way he went. Great, now I'm gonna get raped. I walked in the way I think he went. I almost tripped on the concrete. Okay, so he didn't go this way. I turned around and started walking.
I could here cars but no lights. I heard some shuffling over somewhere. Mark! I ran towards the sound. I couldn't hear it anymore and slowed down. Great, I lost him again. I don't want to call him out because it might attract rapists or murderers. I walked some more until I heard footsteps. Ugh, i give up.
"Mark! Mark is that you?" I yelled.
I tried again.
"Mark! Hello! Quit messing around." I said.
I turned around and felt cold metal against the back of my head. Then, I heard a click.
"Mark, you are so getting grounded for this."
.......
"Hey, you better let me go or my big brother will get you!" I threatened as someone dragged me along.
There was a bag over my head so I couldn't see anything.
"Hey buddy! I know Kung Fu so you better let me go or I'll be forced to use it." I tried again.
"Shut it princess." A low voice said.
"Princess? Oh, no you didn't. I'm no ones princess. Hey! Let go of me." I struggled.
I was thrown somewhere and I landed on a floor. I stood up instantly and took off my sack. This room stinks. I brought my leg up and kicked the closest thing to me. I heard a groin and looked up. A boy who looked about my age was on the ground.
My arms were tackled again. I struggled again but it didn't do any good. I gave up and went still. There was a poker game going on in front of me. Many guys were around a table and there was a lot of smoke.
