"Welcome all, Welcome one. Tonight i'll show you the story of a lifetime. But don't be fooled, Haha! Because if you think that this is an ordinary story...well, you got it all wrong sweethearts. Well? Shall i begin?" That's what the man said before the man in the red tailcoat threw his hat and my vision blacked.
I woke up feeling worse yet again. My stomach churning and my head aching. I sigh and just tried to open my eyes. I looked at my side to see a little robot holding an alarm clock. I glanced at it.
"2:13 am..." I mumbled to myself quietly before getting out of bed. I was still feeling worse because of that flashback. I walked towards the bathroom and washed my face. My white hair slightly getting wet in the process. I softly pressed my forehead against the mirror above the sink. "Another flashback...when will this end?" I knew that nobody will answer my question so i just left the bathroom and headed downstairs. The lights were all turned off, but i couldn't care less. I walked towards the kitchen to drink water. As i opened the refrigerator, i couldn't help but glance at the marble island beside me. Memories flew passed my head and i couldn't help but let out a few tears. I touched the side of my face and expected it to happen. "Tears? Why is this always happening..." I never intended to let out a few tears. I don't even know why i suddenly cry whenever i see a flashback. But i just knew that it was because it wasn't my flashbacks i was having. It was someone else's who never lets go of the past. And now i'm suffering because of it. This is the cause of my sleepless nights and my cold attitude towards strangers. But i never intended to be cold towards them. I just don't know how to communicate well with people. I very much prefer animals and plants to talk to than people. But i guess that it was just my way of thinking. As i continued drinking, i noticed a small light forming down the hallway. I wasn't scared of it. Truth be told, I've never been scared by anything before. The light somehow entranced me, so i followed it. It moved before i even had the chance to catch it. As we neared the library, i saw it swiftly got in the small crack that was below the library door. I quickly opened the door and rushed in. I searched for the small light that seems to be so familiar with me. Suddenly, winds started to form out of nowhere and books few everywhere. I covered myself with my hands, but it was way to strong. The books flew around me, caging me around the leather things. With an unexpected surprise, a big form of light hit my face. I closed my eyes tightly before opening. Upon opening, i saw that the library was a mess. But there was no wind anymore. Only me, and the scattered books on the floor.
As i unravel myself from my hands, I looked towards me that captured me. A book that was open and was placed across the circular table that oddly survived the attack. I looked around to see if anyone might have placed it there. But i knew that there was no-one in the house except me. I moved towards it so i can get a better look at it. The thick book suddenly caught my interest when i read it's name.
"THE BOOK OF STORIES" Quite cliche honestly. I never saw this book before. And i have read all of the books in this library. I couldn't help but get curious again and carelessly took the book in my hands and said it's title. "The book of stories..."
Light began to come out of the book, to powerful to handle. I was trying to close it. But it was no use. It filled the entire library, while i was trying to get away. And soon, it swallowed me whole.
