Beep beep beep.

What was that noise?

My alarm clock that's what. Every morning at 6:15 it went off to wake me up. This was honestly the most dreadful part of my day. I slammed my hand down on the button stopping the wretched noise. I slowly crawled out of bed and looked at the disheveled mess that I called myself in my full body mirror. I groaned in despair at the fact that I had to get myself looking proper in 1 and a half hours.

My name is Lacey Hood and I am 17. I attend Merefield High school and have the 4 best friends anyone could wish for. Caitlyn, John, Chace and Marion! We have been friends since primary school and hopefully we will be friends for life. I had a younger sister called Hanna who was 10 years old sweet to everyone else but a pain in the ass for me. I also had an older brother called Harry who was the definition of overprotective. One day when I brought home Chase to watch a film, before we even sat down Harry had punched him. Let's say he has a bit of a temper. I appreciate him, but sometimes I wish he would just step back a bit... But I loved both of them with all my heart. We all lived with my mum and dad in a house that was not to brag but pretty massive. We never lied to each other or at least not intentionally. We were all like best friends instead of mother daughter father son... Weird but it suited us.

As I climbed into the shower to begin my morning routine I thought what Monday had in store for me. English, French, Double PE and science where my lessons for today. I let the water relax my tensed muscles as I realised not only that it was a Monday but I had science last. Lovely(note the sarcasm).

I switched off the wonderfully hot water and wrapped a towel around me and stepped out of the shower. I walked back into my bedroom from my ensuite bathroom and walked into my walk in closet to decide what to wear for today. I pulled out my white high waisted ripped jeans and a baby blue blouse with my converse wedges and pulled them on over my underwear. I straightened my hair till it rested flat against my back. I then proceeded to add a light coating of mascara and eyeshadow to accentuate my light brown eyes.
I ran down the stairs only to collide with my sister Hanna who sprung out of nowhere. We both tumbled down the stairs like acrobats doing a floor routine.

"Ow" we both screeched in unison.

Mum dad and Mark all ran to see what all the noise was about.

"What a great start to Monday." I mumbled to what I thought was myself until I heard my dad and brother chuckle and my mum giggle. I loved the way none of them helped us.

"This is all your fault! My hair is now ruined after I spent all morning trying to do it!" My sister screamed at me. At this moment I was shocked at the fact that after falling down a full flight of stairs she was more worried about a piece of hair get was out of place. Kids. I rolled my eyes at her obnoxiousness.

"Sorry I didn't see you there midget." I smiled at her.

She huffed turned around and went upstairs.

"Kids..." My mum and dad muttered in unison.

I walked into the kitchen to be met with the smell of glorious pancakes and bacon. Now I am not fat but I am not stick thin either and let me say now I eat like a pig. Food does not last in our house as I eat at any given opportunity.
I loaded my plate with 3 pancakes and 4 rashers of bacon and began to devour my breakfast.

"Slow down love... The food isn't going to run away" My dad said half serious half joking. I laughed slightly and continued.

On my last pancake I heard the beep of a car horn signalling my friend Caitlyn was outside to pick me up for school. I grabbed my bag and kissed my mum and dad goodbye before sprinting out of the house.

"What up but bitch!" Caitlyn shouted. This is how we conversed insulting was what brought us together.

"Hello you little slut" I replied I climbed in her White Audi A3 with s burgundy convertible roof and she sped off before I even closed the door. You see our families were loaded but that doesn't mean we were stuck up bitches. We were down to earth and knew how to be civil to the people we didn't necessarily like.

"Marion doesn't need us to pick her up for school today cause she is driving her new Audi Q3." Caitlyn informed me.

"Sweet." I replied. You see I can drive I am just to lazy too.

15 minutes later we pulled into school and Caitlyn pulled into her usual bay. As we got out we linked arms saying hello to the people we knew. Just before we stepped through the doors I screamed:

"LETS ENETR THIS HELL HOLE FOR YET ANOTER DAY!!!"

Little did I know this wasn't the hell hole I should be worrying about.
