Fools

Chapter 2

    "I don't think thats a good idea." I said pulling up my side of my mouth.

     "Come on. What is that worst that could happen? You having fun?" The girl said walking up and around me. She did have a point.

     "I don't know how to skateboard." I said smiling shyly.

     "Thats fine. Ryder can teach you." The boy said slapping someone on the shoulder. " Won't you, Ryder?" He asked looking at Ryder.

     "Hell yeah I will." He said walking up to me. "I am Ryder. The king of fun." He said and bowed like a king.

     "Well, I'm Kendal, the queen of not having fun." I said laughing. Ryder smiled and held out his hand. I smiled and took it. He lightly pulled it to the longest hallway in the school and threw his skateboard down making a loud thump on the marble floor.

     "I am kinda happy the school doesn't have security until later." Ryder said flipping the skateboard over with his foot and looking at me. He lightly took my hand and pulled me on top of the skateboard. He placed my hands on his shoulder and grabbed my waist. He lightly pulled me and the wheels started to roll making me grip his shoulders and scream a little. He laughed at my squeal. He soon started running making me laugh loudly. He soon slowed down and turn around only to sprint the rest of the way back. He stopped and I let go of him to get off. The marble made the wheels like butter and the skateboard flew from underneath me making me fall on my butt. They all soon laughed and Ryder helped me up. I brushed off my pants. Ryder smiled at me before skating down the hall. The girl walked up. Her long purple dreads were laying on her shoulder.

     "Hey! I'm Chloe." She said smiling at me.

     "I'm Kendal." Her and I sat and talked for awhile until the guys can running down the hall screaming for us to grab the things and leave. I looked behind them to see a security guard behind them. I got up and ran outside with them. They ran to the fence and hopped it. I looked at as the last thump of feet hit the ground on the other side.
