"...ow....ugh.." Gumball grumbled in pain as he sat up. He rubbed his head and then looked down to see himself in a dark blue short-sleeved polo shirt and matching pants with a security badge on the shirt. "What the...what is this place?" He wondered out loud to himself. He looked around to see that he was in some type of security office. A light dimly shone from a lamp on the ceiling and a desk with video cameras and a working fan was in front of him. The ambiance from the hum of the electricity vibrated through the air, and Gumball could hear a distant rumble of thunder.

Gumball then heard a small moan and snapped his head around to see his brother slowly getting up from the floor. He also had a blue security outfit on and rubbed his head as Gumball ran up to him.

"Dude, you okay?" Gumball asked as he helped Darwin up. "Yeah, just trying to gather my thoughts is all." Darwin replied breathly. He then looked around as well. "Where are we?"

"I think we're in the game, Darwin." Gumball answered quietly. "It must've been a glitch or something from when I pressed the 'New Game' button." He slowly walked towards the desk and saw a small tablet laying to the side. "Hmm?" He picked it up and immediately, a screen showing footage from the various security cameras around the pizzeria turned on.

Just then, a landline phone (which the boys hadn't noticed before) began to ring, making them yelp in surprise. Darwin whimpered nervously and was about to grab the phone to answer it when the answering machine picked it up.  A voice of an adult man resonated throughout the room.

"Hello, hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually worked in that office before you. I'm finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact."

The two brothers looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders in confusion. Who was this mysterious caller?

"So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I'm here to tell you there's nothing to worry about. Uh, you'll do fine.
