Night Serenade

Beautiful colorless sky mixed with cries,

one last khug and million goodbyes,

will she forget him now

or will she be the one forgiven?

Painful strumming of guitar,

one last kiss and million forgotten,

I wish she just knew how

he was hidden and no more words were spoken.

Like a thousand fireflies,

they all shine while I die,

but with this one last goodbye

the lovestory might be alright.

It's the night of the poison

running in my veins.

The moon is shining

and they can't take

one more second away.

And while the night is oh so quiet,

my brain won't stop the choir,

and all the grasshoppers in my mind

will start to sing and fly.

Maybe when this night ends

we will be able to begin again.

With this little night serende,

I want to forget my pain.
