Lelia Leafeon was making cookies, chocolate chip to be exact, she made them especially for a boy named Jerry Jolteon. Lelia had a huge crush on Jerry and couldn't wait to surprise him with the enticing treats she made.
"I'm almost positive he will love these, and then when he finishes them off I ask if he'd wanna go out sometime. Maybe even offer to make more."
Lelia covered the cookies in plastic wrap and headed out to find Jerry, eventually, Lelia made it to the library to find Jerry outside chatting with his buddies. She waited till Jerry was alone to approach him, then when the window of opportunity arrived she dashed over to sit across from Jerry at the picnic table. Lelia nervously sat the cookies on the table and said they belong to Jerry.
"Oh my, thank you! These look delicious, I'll have to try these a little later cause I don't wanna spoil dinner. Thanks, Lelia."
Lelia told Jerry he was welcome and hoped he liked her cookies. Lelia was about to ask Jerry to go out sometime his friends came back. Jerry told Lelia he had to get home so he could get a project done, and he said he'd see her later. Lelia went home and thought about what she could do next, then she decided she'd "accidentally" bump into Jerry and make some moves on him. The next day came and Jerry was walking down the halls talking to one of his friends. Lelia started to walk down the hall and attempts to put her plan in motion. Jerry turned into a classroom just as Lelia got to him, so Lelia turned back around and headed to her class. Lelia sat at her desk thinking of yet another plan.
'Damn it, how can I get to Jerry and tell him how I feel? It's almost like it's not meant to happen because everything stops me from getting to him.'
Class went boringly slow for Lelia and when it was finally over she went to lunch. Lelia got her tray and sat at a table sulking, thinking about Jerry, then out of nowhere Jerry came and sat across from her.
"Hey Lelia, just came by to tell you thanks for those delicious cookies you gave me. I have to say those were some of the best cookies I've had in a long time, did you make those yourself?"
Lelia looks up and smiles when she replies to Jerry,
"Yeah, I was spending all afternoon making them just right for you. You see Jerry I made them because I wanted to ask you about something."
Jerry smiled and asked what was up? Lelia took a huge inhale, then let it all out and finally popped the question.
"Jerry, I have liked you for a long time and I want to know... Will you be my boyfriend?"
Jerry smiled and told Lelia he was quite flattered. Jerry had told Leah he felt bad for saying he had to turn her down. Leah took it a little tough at first, then Jerry told her why.
"I figured someone had already told you, I'm gay."
