"Selena you made it!" Juliana ran into my arms and gave me a firm squeeze

"I had to, it's one of my closest friends birthday" I pulled away from the hug and Juliana directed Dani and I in

The lights were dim, as if it was some sort of rave party. There were people grinding along each other or swapping saliva in the caved corners.

"I don't like this." I whispered to Dani

"Girl you'll be fine as long as we stick together" Dani locked our arms together as we began our way through the crowd

Nicki Minaj Barbie dreams began to play and random bodies collided with mine

"Ew Ew" I lifted my hand in disgust

"Wow, you act like you're so damn privileged." Dani playfully rolled her eyes

"Did you smell him?" we continued to walk through the crowd

As we found some space near the cheese dip and fruit punch, Dani and I studied the crowd, some people were from my school and some were apart of Juliana's family.

"Ohhhh cute guy 12 o'clock" Dani said

I looked around and a tall brown skin guy was walking towards us, or so I thought. He just wanted some fruit punch.

"Hey!" Dani spoke up

"What the hell are you doing?" I whispered to her as I pulled lightly at the back of her jacket

"Wassup?" The guy turned towards us and leaned against the table as he took a sip of the red liquid

"I haven't seen you around here before." Dani said

The guy looked Dani up and down and frowned "um how would you know? I mean it's not like you own the block or something"

Dani rolled her eyes "I've never seen you at our school" Dani crossed her arms over her chest

"I'm a family friend, I ain't from around here" he said as he licked his lips

I soon found that my nail beds have gain my attention

"So your friend ain't gonna speak?" He asked

My head instantly snapped up "um" I dropped my hands

The guy from across me smirked a little, I didn't have time for a f*ck boy.

"What's your name?" He asked me

"W-Why you want to know?" I stuttered

"Stop playing" he said

"I will when you stop " I crossed my arms over my chest

"Look..... I didn't mean any harm I swear" he lifted his arms up in surrender. "I'm August " he said
