Chapter 4

I felt like I was in heaven. I was in a land with nature and music. The music was my favorite song 'Issues' by Julia Michaels. Best song for keeping me calm. Until the sky turned gray. And the music stopped.
Thunder struck and the fields died. I ran scared to the hut by the forest. It was a safe place.
But now....... it has fallen apart. The wood hut was rotten and moldy. I ran to the lake. There was a cave and it was dark. Too dark.
But it was the only way to survive this horrible nightmare. So I ran to the cave and stumbled across the rocks. More thunder clapped and sent flashes of light everywhere. It blinded me. I tripped on a rock and fell into the ground.
And when I mean into I mean it. When I went in the ground it felt like hot sand. I was sinking and I was sinking fast. My whole body hurt. I felt numb. I was going to die in another nightmare? WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME?!?!?!?!?
I wanted the pain to stop. So, I focused on happy and calm thoughts. I sang the song 'Issues' in my head. I didn't realize I was singing aloud. My voice was beautiful.
I sang and the sand cooled down and the music was playing again. I was rising out of the sand. When I got to the surface, I saw a demon. The demon was seven feet tall and wore a long black robe.
The demon grabbed me but my neck and held me up to his face. I couldn't breathe. My vision was blurry and my neck hurt. I knew I couldn't get out of this, so I let the darkness take me away, again.

The dark was quite, and cold. I felt something moist touch my forehead. The world got warmer. I opened my eyes to find a boy with emerald eyes. We were in my room. How did I get here?
"Luke?" I  rasped.
"Paige, I was worried sick." He said taking away the damp rag.
"I'm sorry, what happened?"
"You don't remember? Hmm.... ok well first you had that dream of a fire and then you went to check on your family but you got trapped in the fire. I found out that you were trapped in the fire and went to rescue you."
"Thank you, how is my sister?" I remembered that I saved my sister but wasn't able to save myself.
"She is ok, so are your mom and dad. They told me to tell you thank you." He smiled. And I had to smile back.
"Hold on." He said leaving the room. I sat up and looked out the window. It was beautiful. With the sparkling lake and the full moon that was surrounded with bright, beautiful stars.
Lukas came back with a tray of food. I didn't know what it was called but I just ate it, cause I was starving. We talked for a bit then he took my tray and left me alone. I starting singing again.

Hello darkness my old friend....
I've come to talk with you again...
Because a vision is softly creeping....

I stopped singing when I heard a knock on my door. I forgot Lukas was coming back.
"Come in." I said. He opened the door, with a smile on his face. "What?" I ask.
"Your singing. It was beautiful." He said making me blush.
"Thank you, I was in a choir when I was in Kotzebue."
"Well, that must have paid off." He said sitting in the side of the bed.
"Yeah."
"Are you feeling any better?" He asked
"Yeah, I was just....... thinking." I said right before a sudden burst of energy hit me like a car.
Everything went blurry and all I can see were two, no five figures coming towards me. I tired to get up but my body felt numb.
One of them grabbed me, then I realized it was a man. He looked familiar. But I couldn't see his face because of the mask he was wearing. It looked like a zombie and a clown with a touch of spider.
I tried to screamed as loud as I can. But nothing happened until I did the unexpected...... I kicked the man in the shin. (Hahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahaha never mess with me!!!! I'm like the MEDIA!!!!! You will only get this if you know the play.)
The man yelled and slapped me. I kicked him again and he just laid there. Helpless, now we are even. Not much though. I stood up. Looked at the other men. And smiled.
"You guys next?" I asked. I don't know what happened next, there was a flash and a boom. Then a crack. I saw black and thought I was dead. But then light pulled me back. And silence........ and another unexpected thing happened. I saw something... no someone. They glowed and beamed.
Then I understood....

Soo... you guys hate me now. Good. I know I took to long to write this but, I hope it was worth the wait. I need more people to read this. I have to do this dare if I get 100 views.
