"Look at that chibi!" rill says as he look at the kid who seems to join the entrance exam and break a broom that was made by William magic. "She can fly a broom while being blindfold! So cool!" he commented. "How daring." Jack the rapper commented. "Neeh, she not a kid nor a dare devil." Fuegoleon says. "Ehh you know that kid, captain vermillion?" Rill ask. "Yup! That person is that person niece after all." They don't know this person but one thing for sure this kid was not peasant or ordinary examiner.

"Waaah! The kid is now sleeping! Dorothy it look like someone a sleepy head like you is here." Yama commented that receive a nod from the sleeping Dorothy.

<Magical ability exam>

"Do I really need to do this?" I ask that person by mental linking.

"Yes and you most get all the attention of the captain." Was he's simple words before closing the links.

"Sheesh. Ok then." I snap my knuckle before summoning black beams with a snap of fingers "it's mean I have to get serious huh?" I say before slamming all the beams to the wall making them all explode. "Whoa! That so cool, Quinn!" Asta commented.

<Magical ability control exam>

"I'm so bored, Yuno, Asta." I complained as I burn all the paper targets in the air with my black arrows. "You just sleep, Quinn." Yuno replied doing his test in a+++ mark style. "I really don't like being work up like this." I mumble.

<Creation magic exam>

"..." Yuno mumble as he look at me in gigantic cat plush I made to relax and lie at. "What's wrong, Yuno?" I ask confuse by the way he look at him with dead fish eyes.

<Development magic exam>

"Oh this would be good, I wonder what type of seed is this." I said looking at the seed before I use my manna to make it grow to a gigantic tree full of many deferent kinds of fruits. I seat in the black branch as I start eat not really caring about the stares and comment. "Hey, Asta want some?" but it seems he was deep in focus on the seed through. "Oh well." I continue to eat more.

<Last test, battle 1v1>

"All right. The next exam shall be the last one. You will engage in actual combat."-Captain Vangeance says. "You'll be battling!" captain Vermillion continues as he stood up. "You will pair off with your partner. You may use your grimoire to attack." he seems to be exited for the battling part by the sound of his voice.

"If we lose, it'll severely affect our evaluations.

"Picking the right opponent will be key.

"Fighting is our duty. Show us your true abilities!"-captain of the crimson lion king exclaim

"As soon as one of you yield or becomes unable to fight, the exam will be over. There will be mages who can use healing magic standby."-captain of the golden dawn ended.

'Ahh, they can't even look me in the eyes...' I though as I look at the candidates who look away when I was looking at them. "Hey, midget. Fight me will you?" I look up and saw an ugly looking arrogant guy with a red grimoire. "I don't think you're that strong because you're just a peasant from Boonies like those two show off." He point at Yuno who was leaning in the wall and the amaze Asta.

'Ahh this is insulting me right?' I thought as I close my eyes at this. "You know its ok to be curious and all but you can't be judgemental about others." I say to him before leading us to the battle zone. "Through I don't really care if you insult me being small and cute---"his face twitch. "I don't really like you insulting others as if your you can do more but it up you being all bark and runaway with tail between your legs. " he look piss by this. I look at the referee guy and signal him to begin. 'Wait that's remind me... I think I forget my grimoire... 'I thought as I look at my book bag and find it empty. 'Opss Hehe. But oh will.' I look my opponent who want to burn me to Crips.

"Begin!"

"[Creation magic: fire Viper!]" The grimoire float in front him and fire that come from nowhere start to form snake like vipers and heading to my direction. "Now you're done midget!" he yells as he laugh victoriously like he already won. I can feel the approaching fire and what level his master by it. 'Hmm. Not bad.' I smirk and thought how interesting this will be. "Ok then." I mumble before I dig my hills in the ground like Asta do earlier and sprang toward him.

Quinn body lunch in light speed that they don't see even see it all till they heard the ground crack deeper than Asta did because the guy was now planted in the ground in which only his head can be seen. There was a shadow figure that was taller than the kid, it was tall as Yuno but its body was surrounded by dark matter but it look like a person with cat ear and tail swing around. But the shadow disperse and the kid before was in its place.

"Did you see that?!

"I think it was light speed!

"Insane! That kid is insane!

Was the words of the crowd who watch but the two childhood friends of Quinn were smiling? "Way to go Quinn!" Asta cheer for his friend with a close eyes smile. The captains and their crew who share interest at the new kid with hint of astonishment. "This is one hell of a kid." They all thought.

After all the match as will Yuno match with some long haired noble guy and with that the last exam finally over. I was hanging in Asta back once again and telling something we do after getting in a squid. "I like to slack off." Was my sentence which cause certain someone to pinch my side? "Oww! You're hurting this cute kid! You bully!" I joked in a childish voice. "It's ok, Asta the wizard king is here." He turn around to look at Yuno who turn away like he don't believe he knows as and he once again muttering he don't know us spell.

"#165 come forward. ---"it was Asta turn, first their where no captain that choice him but after showing his denervation to be a wizard king to the captain of black bulls he was chosen (with no choice) to join the Black bulls. "#167 come forward." I notice I was not called at all. I stared at the captain and that person there and saw him wink at me. "Darn. It mean I have to live in the same roof at that guardian of mine, huh?" I thought as I look at Asta and Yuno who was chattering together about their dreams again. "I really want to join the black bulls with Asta through." I mumble as I walk toward the two and thought of ditching the squad of that person for Asta group but sadly someone like me who connected to those people cant. "Neeh, Asta! Yuno!" I called out to the two of them. They both look at me. "Oh! I realise that I don't see you being chosen or your number being called!" Asta yells in realization. "Don't tell me you don't get accepted!?" he start to shake my shoulder as he said this. "That can't be possible but she's not appealing I guess?" Yuno joked. "Neeh, you see... I don't really need to participate in all the exam in all. "They all look at me in puzzled. "Will the only reason I did was because a guardian of mine want to see how strong or change in my ability in the recent years of slack—I mean training in the outside world, you know?" I tried to quickly cover the slacking off part because I want to sugar-coat it but they seems to hear it and laugh. "That's one of guardian of yours! Huh?!" Asta pat my shoulder. "But what's the squad you're in anyway?"—Yuno.
