Time passed.

9 birthdays alone on the attic with no congrats from her own mother passed, it was time for middle school. Jo was not a talented girl or something like that, but she was good enough to get into the best school. Harry attended there too, thanks to the generosity of James.

School started in Fall. Yeah, Fall, the season of sadness again. The little girl lost her interest in lessons, as her life was too miserable up to that point. She secretly hated everything, everyone, and even herself. To adapt into the cruel society, she had to wear such a mask, with fake smiles to lie to the world, 'till one day...

- Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I am gonna be late!!!!!

The girl rushed through the hallway with full speed. Luckily, she didn't bump into anyone before the bell went.

Uhm, okay... she did bump into someone after the bell went...

A boy fell to the ground with a harsh expression. His eyes flashed with anger.

- I am sorry! - Jo said sarcastically, picking up her books laying on the ground. Suddenly, he picked some for her and then toughed her rough, small hand.

- There you are Jo. We are classmates, nothing to be ashamed bout that. Let's go!

He grabbed her hand gently, smiling like an angle. The angry flashes were gone, being replaced with sparkles. Jo blushed, her face turned red.

- Do I know you? - She asked. - I don't remember anybody here!

The boy burst into laughter, then replied kindly:

- My name's Subaru, and that's one thing you are gonna remember!

That feeling of joy, was that love?
