Moving on

The young boy lazily walked out to the kitchen table, slumping down and reaching out his hands for the food.  His mouth was watering as he was handed a beautiful plate of eggs, bacon, and toast. "Itadakimasu." He said, before digging into the meal. Before he had known, the food had been gone.  "Uhh..I'll go now.." He had said before running to his room and brushing out his jet black hair. He wore a usual outfit.  He looked up to the mirror, and stared into space.  He had developed heterochromia-- an eye disease. It didn't effect his health, meaning he was perfectly healthy. He had his right eye golden, his left was ocean blue.  He blinked a bit and had managed to snap out of his little wandering in his mind. He had grabbed his bag and ran out the door.  "Good bye guys!"  He waved as he ran out into the world.  He casually walked to school. Today was the day.  Today was when he was gonna graduate. He hummed to himself while he walked along.  He wasn't the most creative with much...though he did have a good friend, named Avery.  She was quite sadistic.. as she often talked about cutting and stuff like that. She cursed a lot and had a good sense of humor, though can get annoying.  Mason on the other hand, was quiet and shy.  He didn't have an opinion on things, as he usually kept his mouth shut.  When he had finally reached the school, he was greeted by Avery. "Heyo, wassup?" She said as she walked over looking like a coolio-gangsta swag girl.  "Oh. Uh hi Ave." Mason replied while walking into the entrance of his middle school.  "Today is when we're gonna graduattee~!" Mason said laughing in pure excitement.  Avery replied as, " Yes, that's what's up ya f*ckerrss!" She laughed and continued to walk.  They had reached the gymnasium for graduation just in time.  The principal had said the usual hibbity job, blah bek blah.  That's when the principal had announced Mason's class up for the celebration. They had celebrated and moved on with the day.  He talked with Avery and some other friends.  He took usual classes and had lunch regularly.  Afterwards he had began to walk home when something happened. Something unexpected.  He had been crossing the street and got hit by a car.  He couldn't remember anything.  All he could remember was him walking across.  He woke up to see bright lights blaring in his face and family members swarming him.  He had groaned and opened his eyes.  "Mmhhh..". He pushed his family off of him, or atleast tried to.  He was weak from medication and such.  He hadn't suffered major damage, just a broken leg and a rib fracture.  He had been incredibly overwhelmed and scared.  Just for himself.  He didn't care about anything else. Really, he didn't care what his mom thought, or his dad thought. He didn't think of it at all.
