Chapter 4: I love u all equally

Toothless POV

"Theres more" i hear Astrid say. "There isn't just four" asks Hiccup, "There might be more than just that actually" says Astrid biting her lip.

(A/N they were busy) i look at Midnight and she gives me a slight smile, "Well look on the bright side bud, you'll have more night furies to play with" says Hiccup. "Well there is that" i growl. "Who cares at least we have them with us" says Midnight at she watches them fall asleep beside her.

"Here they are" says Astrid bringing

I more baby night fury, she's already asleep as she sets them down beside Midnight.

She licks my cheek, and i blush. "I love you" she says laying her head down. "I love you too" i say as i lay down beside her. "What are we gonna name them?" she asks looking at them sleeping peacefully. "They all have their own special abilities just like you" says Midnight with a smile.

"yup" i say as my spine starts to glow blue. As i look at all of them i notice that only one of them is white and that the others are different. One is black and has red detailing.

Soon they all start to wake up and they goof around buddng their heads together or biting each other's tail.

"Hiccup can i talk to you please?" says Astrid pursing her lips so they make a straight line. I look at her expression worriedly and so does Midnight. Fishlegs picks up one of the babies and looks at him, its spine starts to glow red and he growls and tries to bite him. "Ya sure" says Hiccup following Astrid into a room.

I look at Midnight worriedly and soon enough Hiccup comes out with something wrapped in a blanket. He leans against me and uncovers what was wrapped in the blanket. It was a baby night fury drinking milk from a bottle. Her little eyes look up from the bottle and look at me, she gives me a gummy smile and keeps drinking.

Midnight walks over and looks at her, she nuzzles her face and looks at her, "She's so small" says Midnight, "Yup" i respond not knowing what to say, after all they're are six of them and i can't believe it.

Hiccup sets her down and she tries to walk, one of the other night furies goes and helps her. "We should name them" says Midnight. "Then you do it cuz i'm nit good with names" i say back looking at the little things stumble around and play.

"Fine then" she says happily. She pulls the white one infront of her abd looks at her. She shoots ice at the wall, making it look like crystals are hung on the wall. "This is crystal" she says as Crystal plays with a rock on the ground.

She pulls another one towards her, "this is Aquamarine" she says looking down at her. Her dark blue eyes shining like sapphires.

She lays down beside Midnight and falls asleep, Midnight pulls another one over this time its a boy. "His name is Inferno" she says as his red detail starts to glow. He gives a gummy smile, she pulls another one over, "This is Nightingale" she says to him and he fires at the crystals on the wall.

She pulls another one infront of both of us. "This is twilight" she says as his speckled eyes look bright. He walks over to Crystal and bites her playfully. Then the smallest one, stumble over to me and lands hard on the ground and her little eyes start to look glassy as little tears roll down her cheeks. I rush over to her and pick her up, carrying her in my mouth.

"Everything's okay, its okay" i say as she looks at me with her tiny little face, and her bright black eyes. "You can name her" says Midnight. "Me?" i say looking at her. "Ya, i named all of them you name this one" she says as all of them fall asleep beside her.

"Okay, what should i name you?" i say as she wabders around looking at the floor and everything on it. "Freedom" i say as she looks at me. "What?" says Midnight confused. "Her name is freedom" i say as she uses her claws to capture a bug. Midnight smiles. "Thats a beautiful name, now lets get some rest were all tired she says as Freedom lays down beside her.
