Laughter

Is all what jungkook could hear as he stared at his mother, she was enjoying her favorite tv show while slowly eating her meal, he would join her and laugh whenever she look at him but in truth, he wanted to see that smile, he wanted to hear that laugh, because no matter how hard she hide her sickness he knows that one day he will lose her.

The first show ended and a new one started, the guests kept talking about different topics with the MC's on the show, " I once heard about a myth,.. " one of the guests started, gaining the attention of both jungkook and his sick mother, " if you make three people smile daily, at the end of the week you get a wish " the guest said.

" since this is an entertainment show, and I make people laugh almost daily, do you think I got a chance to make a wish? " one of the MC's asked before laughing, " you never know, it may be fake, it may be true.. but at the end you won't lose anything, because you are bringing joy to other people at the end ".

" even if you fail to have your wish granted, you made someone day slightly better " the guest added, earning few understanding nods from the other guests and MC's, jungkook looked at his mother, the words that person uttered, kept replaying in his head, should he try it? He won't lose anything at the end.

" do you think, it's true? " he hesitantly asked his mother, she was surprised because her son normally doesn't believe in such things, " I am not sure,.. " she said as she held her son hand, " why? " she asked, with a knowing smile, " maybe, if I try and make someone genuinely happy, I will be able to wish, that you will feel better, and get cured ".

She stayed quiet, her eyes getting teary as she saw her son eyes glisten, " if it makes you feel better, than I don't mind believing in that too, even if it's not true.. " she whispered the last words, the boy heard them, but he decided to ignore them, not because of her negative thoughts but because he wanted to think positively, he hoped that the first time he believe in such thing? It will actually turn real.
