We're sitting in Nathan's living room and this is the most awkward situation I have ever been in.
Nathan is sitting on the couch across from Alex and I.
He's starring at me I feel a blush creep up to my cheeks but it's just hot. Right?
When Alex sees my face she grins
"Sooooo what do you guys wanna talk about well other than silence".
"You can't talk about silence Alex" I say .
She ignores me .
"Let's talk about school" Nathan suggested
"Oh I have a great story about One of the days at the six cruel hours of our lives"
I have a feeling this story is gonna be about me
"One time, me and Anna were in school she saw her crush-
I can see Nathan tense at the word 'crush' but I chose to ignore it
Wait wait wait did she say crush.
Bad story
I give here a look that says 'don't say anything else please' she doesn't listen
"She ran to him-"she paused to giggle
Come on man I'm dying here
"And she told him everything she thought of him"
"That was one time!" I complained
"But I never forgot and never will"
"Oh come on just because you remember doesn't mean he has to"
"In my book it does"
"Great"
I look to Nathan and he's still staring at me I try to avert my eyes but I can't I just continue to stare until we're interrupted by Alex clearing her throat.
"You guys are so cute together! Why are you not dating?"
"Because I don't like him" I say with a little tiny feeling that I'm lying but I know I'm not.
"Yeah you do" Alex says back
"No I don't"
"Yes you do"
"No I don't"
"Yes you do"
"No I fucking don't"
"Cuss word" Alex says in a singsong voice
"Shut up!"
"You have the same patience as my gang leader" Nathan mumbles but I could hear him clearly
Oh no I'm giving off too many hints if I want to stay here long enough I have to not give off any.
"How long have we been here" I ask because it feels like we've been here for hours
"2 minutes" Alex says
Awesome an hour and fifty-eight minutes more of torture
"Nathan I want to say sorry for ignoring you for the past few days"
"Oh yeah that's ok it was my fault for making you uncomfortable"
"No it was mine I'm sorry"
"Okay"
"Guys just kiss already" Alex says making me snap my head towards her
"Please stop" I say back

An hour and fifty-eight minutes later
We're about to leave now because it's been two hours finally
"Bye now" I say getting up and walking towards the door with Alex
I'm about to touch the door handle but realize I have to get Nathan's phone number.
"Oh Nathan I need your phone number mothers orders" I say turning around to face Nathan
After we exchange phone numbers Alex and I leave
As soon as I close the apartment door I take a deep breath
Alex's phone chimes
She looks at who it is who texted her
"Well I gotta get going" she says looking up for her phone
"Ok bye" I say
"Bye and I know you like Nathan"
"I don't!"
"Sure byeeeee"Alex says opening the door and leaving
'Why does she think I like him' I think while walking towards the bathroom
I strip from my clothes and get in the shower
After the shower I go straight to bed
I lay in bed for about an hour until darkness consumes me
