Hello! Thanks for clicking this story! This is my first work so far and it might not not be too good because I don't have very much experience with love....oh well! Enjoy and make sure to read this little explanation of the main characters:
(How I imagine Arlo)
Arlo Haysel put up walls a long time ago. For almost nine years nobody has gained his trust, or even become somewhat intimate with him. He had always been troubles, due to a haunting dark childhood. Most people stayed away from him, so he became accustomed to isolation and independence. Loneliness eventually faded to numbness. Instead of becoming depressed, he did whatever the hell he wanted, consequences meaning nothing because he simply didn't feel enough to care. Arlo quickly became a blackguard hellion. By the age of 14 he was in a high enough ranking of a gang, the Pitbulls, to tag allies and collect drug money. He didn't let anybody into his life, and wasn't in anybody else's life. But that was going to change
(How I imagine Edlen)
Rejection pummeled Edlen Belvine her whole life. She never fit in with any one group. She was too intelligent and opinionated, but not basic enough for the "popular girls". Too pretty , and not smart enough for the "nerds". She was not talented enough for the "artsy ones", not disliked enough for the "weirdos", not liked enough to be a "goody-two-shoes", and not rebellious enough to be a "baddie". Though she had friends in almost every clique, all of them were too different from her to understand her. Most of her friendships ended up the same way: get attached, feel annoying, feel understood and cared for, other person becomes detached, the relationship fades away. Edlen had lots of invisible scars from all the dejection she has recieved from her family and her social life. Her only friend was Kaminari, who had never left her side for 4 years. Though, even sometimes Kaminari didn't understand Edlen completely, because she was in the weeb clique. Though she loved her to bits, Edlen hoped she might find someone to call home.
P.S. I will probably post three or four new parts a week. Also, I will try my best to write with good spelling and grammar because personally, I hate stories with *HORRIBLE* grammar and spelling.
