~3rd person POV~

Todoroki stared blankly at the Y/HC girl. She hadn't noticed one bit, too busy arguing With a certain blonde. He was jealous of Bakugou for being so close with the girl and knew that he would probably win.

A couple of months ago Todoroki had realized his crush on Y/n and planned on telling her about it, but before he got the chance Bakugou messed it up. "I know you like her half and half" he growled "so I want to make a competition with you. Whoever she starts liking first will get her. Deal?" he spat. "Whatever, I won't lose to somebody like you"

So now all Todoroki could do was sit back and watch them fight. Bakugou had a knack for catching her attention, mainly because of their similar personalities would lead to a clash. Y/n was calmer then Bakugou but still seemed to have a temper.

"Shut the fuck up you annoying piece of shit." she growled, keeping her head down so she could ignore him. "What did you just say to me bitch?! Sorry I couldn't hear you under all your bullshit!!" He screamed. Y/n had enough and ignored whatever insults he was throwing at her.

"Bakugou" Shoto called to him. He whipped around furiously. "What the hell do you want half and half bastard!" he retorted. The whole class now watching the fight. Shoto stood up and went by Y/n's side.

"Stop, you're being rude" he growled. Bakugou just laughed at the boy. "Stop being such a suck-up icy hot." he snickered. Shoto was caught by surprise, a small light blush entered his cheeks as his eyes widened. "I'm not, I just don't want to listen to your banter any longer." Todoroki frowned. Regaining his monotone disposition and returning to his seat.

~Todoroki POV~

After school, I got up from my seat and walked down the empty halls. I heard soft footsteps behind me. I kept walking, not caring about whoever it was.

"Todoroki?" the voice said. I knew who it was, now I cared. I turned around to face her. "Oh hey, Y/n" I barely smiled, hiding my emotion best I could. "I just wanted to thank you for earlier," she smiled softly. "Huh?" I questioned, pretending as if I didn't know. "You know, saving me from Bakugou's bull shit earlier." she giggled a little thinking back to how childish he acted. "Oh it was nothing, I was just getting tired of it." I sighed. "Oh," she stated, a little disappointed. "Uh anyway see you another time." and with that, she walked off.

When she was out of view I hit my forehead "damn it I blew it" I muttered under my breath. I walked the same direction she went, exiting the building. "Todoroki-kun!" Midoriya called out from behind me. I felt bad not talking to him so much after the 'competition' started.

"Oh, Midoriya. Hi." I smiled weakly at him. "I feel like you've been avoiding me, wanna go get something to eat and catch up!" he grinned. I nodded to the green haired boy. He leads the way to a small ramen place near school.

I sat down at one of the wooden stools as the waiter servers other customers. "Midoriya I need to tell you something...please listen to me. It's important."
