You Confuse Me

Jessiqa's POV

I don't really like the morning time. Actually I hate the morning time. It doesn't suit me well. But every day I wake up to my alarm blaring. BEEEEP BEEEEP BEEEEP ."Uhhhhh shut up you stupid thing" I turn it off and throw the covers back over my head. It is the official first day of school and as much as I hate mornings I will get up for this. I get up and stretch "Mmhh another day of living it's going to be so fun" Hint the sarcasm in my voice. I walk to the bathroom and almost scream at what I look like, ok I might be overreacting but I look like I died and came back props to Superman he looked good when he came back.

I should tell you that I'm very into Sci-Fi, I love it, it might be the reason that I love going on adventures. I'm also a book nerd, don't get me wrong I love life but I love my books more. Anyway, back to my morning. I brush my teeth then wash my face, I go to pick my outfit out for the day when my phone dings with a notification:

BESTIE:

U up?

ME:

Yea why?

BESTIE:

Just asking so that I can come pick u up

I sigh

ME:

Ok I'm getting dressed when u get here come on in

BESTIE:

U know it

I put down my phone and think about how the day might go when I hear the front door open. "Where are you at?" "I'm up here!" I yell down at Angelique. Angelique my best friend ever since middle school we are never apart you can ask anybody. She is the most girly person that I have ever met. It used to bother me but it doesn't anymore. She comes into my room and runs back out "What are you doing?" I ask "I'm running away from what you're wearing" I look down. I'm wearing a Venom T-Shirt with blue jeans and some Nike shoes. "What's wrong with what I'm wearing?" I question her as she walks back in "You look like a comic book chewed you up and spit you back out." "I do not!" "Yes you do and that is not what you're wearing on the first day of school." "Fine, what would you like me to wear?" Angelique goes into my closet and picks out a plain white tank top with a black blouse. "Put that on." I put it on and she giggles "What" I say defensively "Nothing you look great" "Lets just go" I grab my stuff and walk to her car while she follows close behind. "You want me to drive" I ask "Yea I got to do my makeup" I get into the driver seat and wait for her to get in, once she does we are off to school.

5 Minutes Later

I pull into a parking space, turn off the car and hop out. I see the rest of our friends and walk over to them. "Hey guys what are we talking 'bout" "Oh you know boys" laughs Hana "I'm not" says Mia "Ok ok don't get you panties in a bunch" says Jordan "You guys do know that ya'll are weird right" Angelique asks "Well you hang out with us so you're weird too" Grace states "You true you true" "What's up guys" Jadyn says as she walks over. I'm going to tell you that our little group is so weird that we are popular. You can ask anybody. As I laugh with my friends a new and not familiar car pulls into the lot. "Who do you think that is?" Hana asks "I don't know, but who's willing to find out?" asks Grace "Guys I'm on the welcome committee I'll probably have to show him around" I state this is going to be one heck of a day.
