°°° ARIADNA
AYLA jumped up and down in excitement as we joined the line outside of the venue. I still don't understand how my three year old daughter discovered, and fell in love with a group of 19-21 year olds. It's completely beyond me. Either way my baby wanted to see prettymuch, so that's what she's doing today. I'd rather her look up to them, then her deadbeat ass dad.
I rolled my eyes at the thought of my ex boyfriend and ayla's father, Deandre. I shook away my thoughts and picked Ayla up, seeing as the girls in line were getting a little too rowdy. Ayla squealed in delight as we stepped inside the venue. Drake's 'In My Feelings' blasted through the speakers on the ceiling. Teenage girls talked amongst themselves excitedly, and some even held gifts in their hands to give to the boys. I smiled at Ayla with her own neon bag in her hand. She had insisted on giving her boyfriend, Nick a gift. It took me a while to convince her to be fair and buy all the boys a gift. She eventually complied, but made sure Nick's gift was the best.
"Mommy," Ayla gasped. I turned to her smiling face.
"Yes baby?"
"I see Nick." She kicked her legs excitedly. I laughed and looked over to where the boys were taking pictures with twin fans. And of course right at the end, was Nicholas Mara, also known as, Ayla's "boyfriend". As we got closer to the boys, Ayla got more and more excited. She hid her face in my shoulder as we came into full view of prettymuch. The girls in front of us were escorted to boys and began their conversations.
"Ayla," I whispered in her ear, "We're next honey." Her grip on my shoulder tightened and a muffled squeal came from her. I laughed and shifted her weight.
"Okay next." Ayla popped her head up as I carried her over to the boys. I'm not gonna lie, they're an attractive group of guys. Nick was the first to acknowledge her.
"And who may this cutie be?" He reaches out and tickled her slightly. She giggled before responding.
"I'm Ayla." She reaches into the bag and pulled out the hoodie she bought for Nick.
"Is this for me?" She nodded.
"Tell him what he is to you Ayla." I urged. He looked at her with a smile, waiting for an answer.
"My boyfriend." The boys all laughed sweetly.
"Aw, I'm honored, you're the cutest girlfriend I've had." She reached her arms out to him and I hand her over to him. She snuggled into his shoulder, causing all the boys to let out an "aawww." I proceeded to give the boys their gifts, since Ayla was preoccupied with Nick. Austin received comics, Edwin received a fanny pack, Brandon got a beanie, and lastly Ayla gifted Zion with a stuffed dog. He seemed really happy about it too.
"Ayla, this is the best gift I've ever gotten, can I have a hug." Nick put her down and she ran to Zion as he lifted her into a hug. It was the purest interaction I've ever seen. Zion handed her back to Nick after the hug, and we began to take pictures.
°°° ARIADNA
THE concert was amazing, those are some seriously talented boys. Ayla most definitely had a blast. Everyone there loved her. The security guard even handed us a stool so Ayla could see and I didn't have to hold her the whole time. The highlight of her night, was when Nick chose her to serenade to during 'Summer On You." My baby's was in pure joy as she sat on Nick's lap for the duration of the song. It seemed she was favored by all the boys, seeing that throughout the night, they gravitated towards her at least twice. Zion even grabbed my hand during a song. I laid Ayla on the bed and took a picture of my angel.
