Chapter Six: Square-one

*Zero's PoV*

Things didn't end up the way I wanted it to dahil kasalukuyang pinaguusapan ng masinsinan ang tungkol sa pag-alis ni Lucian.

Pierce wanted him to leave.

"You can't just ask my son to leave his home, Pierce. Ngayon lang ulit kami nagkasama" Sir Caspian defended.

"Breaking their bond is not easy. It takes time—"

"Then we have to do something about it! Goddammit!" Pierce desperately shouted.

Nanatili lang akong tahimik pero naguguluhan sa mga pangyayari. Same goes with Lucian. Tahimik lang sya sa isang tabi habang nagtatalo ang ama nya at si Pierce. Tanda and Mama is still here, dumating din kasabay ni Sir Caspian si Ms. Andy para mapakalma si Pierce.

"Son, we can't do anything about it. It's their bond. Wala pa tayong sapat na pag-aaral tungkol dun dahil pambihira ang kanilang bond. It's between a pureblood and a half-blood. It's complicated" Ms. Andy said as she tries to calm Pierce down.

"Then we can study the bond but for the meantime, Lucian has to leave. Para kahit papaano ay humina ang connection nila" Pierce said as he stared at me.

Why does he want to break the bond? Ano naman ngayon kung konektado kami?

"You talk about us as if we're not here" I butted in. Halos lahat sila ay napalingon sa gawi ko. Pierce quickly went near me, he even reached for my hand and I let him.

"Listen to me, baby. You are sired to that asshole, that's why you can't feel anything for me. He wants you all by himself and subconsciously desiring you right from the very start and you, being sired to him, complies" malungkot na paliwanag nya.

I took a glance at Lucian, nakatulala lang sya. He looks lost. Guilt is evident within his eyes.

You desire me?

Agad syang nag-angat ng tingin and our gazes met. Alam kong narinig nya ako, he wouldn't react if he didn't but then he quickly averted his gaze na para bang nakakapaso ang titigan ako.

"Pierce...hijo, their bond was created because my son saved her. Kung hindi dahil kay Lucian, do you think you can actually met Zerefina in the first place? Do you think she'll be standing right in front of you as of this damned moment? If it weren't for my son, baka hanggang ngayon nagluluksa ka pa rin sa pagkamatay ni Zerefina—and what will my son get in return after saving the pureblood princess?—paalisin sya dahil lang sa nagkagulo ang relasyon nyo dahil sa sire bond? Every thing just went to havoc just because my son has feelings for your girlfriend and you all talk as if it's a bad thing!"

The tension around us, worsen. Now that Sir Caspian looks mad, his eye color are slowly turning into yellowish brown and his claws are slightly showing. He looks like he's ready to pounce at Pierce kaya naman agad na humarang si Ms. Andy para maprotektahan ang anak nya.

"Kumalma ka, Caspian" Mama said.

"You better be. You look like you're ready to murder my son, Caspian" Ms. Andy hissed as her eyes turned red.

Everyone is arguing about our bond, our connection and it has to be broken. Oddly, lahat sila ay nagkakagulo pero kami ni Lucian ay nanatiling tahimik lang.

I caught him staring at me when I glance at him. He just gave me an apologetic smile before he bows his head down.

I took a deep breath and then sighed. Mas lalo lang naging magulo ang mga bagay-bagay. The issue gotten worse. Una, it's just about the sire bond and now, they're talking about Lucian's feelings for me.
