The Chance : Global Edition Logo appears on screens across the globe as the very first episode begins
40 trainees stand on a stage their faces facing away from the camera. In front of them a spotlight highlights the MC who rises to the stage from below.
"40 trainees walk the same path, towards the same end goal...debut" She begins coolly, her ebony gown sparkling like a clear nights sky.
"Welcome to The Chance : Global Edition, I am the MC of The Chance, Sunmi-imnida" She bows and smiles beautifully toward the camera.

"8 Teams of trainees from across the globe, stand behind me...you are curious to know more about them, right"? Sunmi asks, winking at the camera.
"We won't keep you waiting. Let the competition begin"!
The scene changes to a different setting a large studio. The set is really something. 8 round Tables made of glass with five seats around each. 8 Tables for 8 Teams.
Then the camera pans to a long narrow table just beyond the tables, with 7 chairs behind it. Then at the other end of the set a tall curtain conceals another area.
The door to the set slides open smoothly and the familiar face of the MC Sunmi appears from behind it. Dressed more casually than her previous appearance yet no less breathtaking.
"Oooh- they really weren't kidding when they said it would be on another level" Sunmi chuckles as she wanders onto the set.
"Please take your seat" A god like voice rings out over the set.
Sunmi jumps at the sudden voice. Then begins to laugh uncontrollably...
"It's just the director-nim...but he's definitely got some kind of effect on his voice now"~ She grins pointing out the rather short and timid looking director who sat off the set, a microphone in his hand.
He can't help but laugh himself knowing that the trick didn't fool Sunmi.
She recovers from her fit of laughter and takes the center seat at the long table.
"It's sort of awkward..."She mumbles playing with the cue cards in her hands.
Then the door opens again and two new faces enter the set.
