SILENT WHISPERS
She tries to voice out loud but -
Emerges only silent whispers,
Circumstances keep her shut;

Cries lost amid the fear of hers;

But men are not any better off. They are expected to be strong and brave always.
"Hey, can you help me out? I am sad."
"Are you kidding me? You are a man."
"But..."
"Showing your weakness will make you less of a man, dude!"
DEAFENING SCREAMS
His heart wrenches out
Such deafening screams
Pain vented into shout;
