Chapter 4(Flashing Lights)

"Why did I get a phone call from Mr. Brunson saying that you was late for class and then, you had Jason Padeleck use his powers to orb(Short word for Teleporting) you to your class and then you left with out telling anyone. And then you forgot to pick up your brother from school. What would you to say for yourself", the house started to shake. My dad put a hand on her shoulder and whispered something in her ear. She seemed to calm down but it was hard to tell. My mom cant yet control her anger nor her powers because she got them just last year. Another reason why I can still get hope for my powers. She has Telekinesis and my dad is a Teleporter. And then I have a brother name Jake. He suppose to get his powers today but the day is about to end.

"See what had happen was, I was walking and Jason orbed by me. And talked and when the bell ranged I was late and he orbed me on such short notice. Then, I got home and they followed me", I'm trying to keep the part out to when I got jumped by Jackson and his clique,"And then they wanted to go to the fair. And I left because I don't have powers yet. So, this morning and this afternoon wasn't my fault. And at least I didn't leave the lights on", then as soon as I said that, the lights started to flicker on and off. My mom and dad looked up and they hollered,"Jake". My dad orbed upstairs while my mom swung her hand in my direction and the front door I left open slammed shut. And then we ran upstairs to go see why there was a power surge.

When we got to his room he was on the floor screaming. There was blue orbs around him and everything was flying in the room. My mom crossed the room to go to my dad who was trying to stand still. I tried cross the room, but something pulled me up and I started to float off the ground. I tried to hold on to the door but that wasn't helping any.

"What's happening", I hollered

"He is trying to pick his power. And he is in transitioning", when my mom said that the windows started to crack.CRACK. The window busted open. Glass flew everywhere. My mom reacted fast and threw her hand up and the glass stopped before it reached us.

"Becareful, he is powerful at the moment. He is unpredictable so I'd advi-", my mom stopped because she saw me fly in the air and started to spin around the room.

"MOOOMMMMMM. HELP MEEEEEE", I started to spin around fast. I caught a glimpse of my mom trying to use her power to get me. I felt a force around my body. I began to move slowly. Than, the force broke because I flew into the wall.

"ZACHERY!", I heard my mom scream my name.

"I got him", I heard my dad say. Then, I felt that nausea feeling and blue orbs started to fly around me and the last time I checked I was downstairs on the couch. Then everything got black and the last thing i heard was one last scream of Jake and the whole house shaking.............

"Zac,Zac, Zac, are you sleep", I heard Jake say.

"No, I just got my eyes closed for no reason", We both chuckled, "What happen last night". I barely remembered what happened. All I know is that you was suppose to get your powers last nighhhhhh!!!!", I started to fly in the air. "PUT ME DOWN JAKE", I hollered. I fell striaght from the cieling and plopped on my bed . "Sorry, I'm still getting use to my powers. I swear I wasn't trying to do it. Its like everyhing I think of trying to do,my powers react to it", he said shaken. "Its okay. It not like you never wanted to kill me or send me up to my death and drop me like a bomb", I said sarcastically. "Its okay Zac. Your going to get your powers one day. Heck it may be tomorrow, or next week, or next month. Or next year, or-", I cut him off and said," Okay I get it," I said. Then it had me thinking, what if I never get to have my powers. Me just thinking about it makes my head hurts.

"Imma go and get me some breackfast. Mom said get ready so you can go to D-Hall. She had to put some healing lotion on your back because it was broken", I felt my back and it was perfectly fine to me. Then, everything came to me about last night. I remeber her helping me and her kissing my forehead before going o sleep.

"Awww", I said in my head but I sooned relized I said it outloud when Jake was staring at me. "Yeah okay, your creeping me out, soooo, imma go eat because I'm starving from the cramping and the migrane from last night . Bye", he left without closing my door," You forgot to close my door". "Sorry", he said. Then, I heard him coming back up the stairs, but when he came close to the door, my door started to move. Then, when he came to my door , it slamed in his face, broke off the hinges and slamed him to the wall. "Hahhahahahahahahahaha. Oh my god. That was hilarious. Wow. Thanks for breaking my door off", I laughed. I saw the door bust back in my room and hit the wall."Woah, is you mad or naww. And your fixing my door", I said still laughing. He got off the floor and when he looked at me I saw a big red knot on his forhead. That mad me laugh even worse. Then, I felt a force push me off the bed and I fell on the floor face first," Mom did say get up", then he went to go fix his breakfast. I got up and tried to chase him. But, then I realized he has powers so I stopped before I get thrown into the wall somewhere. I went to look in my closet to changed into some cargo pants and a black shirt. Now, I'm ready for D-Hall physically, but not mentally. Today is just not my day........
